Q:my car sounds like it wants to start up but it wont turn over. happened after i changed my water pump?
im confused at everything you are saying here. first off you said you changed the water pump and then it wont start and u said u changed the fuel pump in the next sentence.... so which one did you change?? and how does it try to start but not turn over? if it trys to start the engine has to turn over other wise you would hear a click sound which could be low battery or looose connections... try jumping it. if that doesnt work it could be the starter as well. but generaly if the starter goes out it wont make no noise at all when u turn the key..... if urs makes noise then its trying to turn which means it needs more power... unless you did somthing wrong and the engine is in such a bind it cant turn. now if ur engine is turning over when u try to start it then it could mean its still not getting fuel so u need to check for fuel. if it has fuel then ur problem could resume in no spark to ur plugs which means if u replaced the fuel pump cause it wouldnt start then that may not have been ur problem the whole time u should have checked for spark and fuel before replacing random parts cause u think they are bad. so depending on what your trying to say here its hard to give u a direct answer cause u completely reword yourself over and over and nothing makes sense.
Q:water pump replacement mercury topaz?
That is your first problem. Once that works, turn it with a 1/2 in wrench and clamp the hose.
Q:My water heater pump keeps tripping the main electric panel...?
It does sound, by coincidence, that your elements, or one of them, are going out. Have an electrician check them out. How many do you have? One heater, two elements. How old is the heater, if over ten years, get a new one. A lot cheaper then replacing the elements. Go to Home Depot and have them do the whole job.
Q:Water Pump 1989 F250 5.8L 351w?
that don,t sound like the water pump. if it was the pump then it would overheat and leak out. check to see where it,s leaking at. if it,s leaking from the pump then it will have to be changed even though it still might not help it to idle. it,s not really that hard to change the pump on a 351W . the hardest part is getting into it. you might have to remover some stuff so you can work. the belt and water pump pulley will have to come off and the fan but that should let you into the bolts.
Q:Is it my water pump? Help?
You don't mention make, model, or year, but it could be the water pump or some other leak. Your boyfriend can see the car so I am leaning toward his explanation. Check the first source for your make, model, and year, and engine type if you know it. If the entry for your car (or for any of the engines for your car, if you don't know which one) has a # after it the timing belt drives the water pump. If that is so, don't drive it at all until you either determine it is not the water pump or it is repaired. If the pump seizes and it is driven by the timing belt the timing belt will fail. And if the engine is an interference design (has an * along with the #) that will probably cause serious engine damage. The safe thing to do in any case is to try to bum a ride from a friend in the meantime. The shifting problem is probably something else.
Q:Pump flow 6M3/H is an hour, how many tons of water?
=1 tons of water 1M3So 6m3/hIt's 6 tons / hour
Q:Can I use a electric water pump to cool my V-Drives and transmissions?
You would be playing with fire to use electric pumps to cool the transmissions and v drives. I doubt they would put out the volume of cooling water needed to cool them and have enough extra volume just in case. Besides, the raw water pumps also would cool the engines and exhaust systems if they are raw water cooled or they would cool the anti freeze and exhaust and transmissions with heat exchangers and oil coolers. Those transmission coolers should be plumbed into the raw water system using the same water that flows through the engines. Not to mention the reliability of the electric pumps vs engine driven pumps.
Q:Why does a car water pump fail?
if the radiator is clogged up, the water pump cant circulate the water.
Q:Well water pump runs constantly?
Some things you could check for yourself. The volume control on the end, middle of the tank. This has a rubber in it and could have a Small hole. Second, the diaphragm that controls the switch may have a ding in it, it would be hard to see or check, listen for any leaks. Make sire you use plumbers putty on all your fittings. If all else fails, call the pump guy.
Q:engine doesnt pump water?
There are 2 water pumps. One in the stern drive, or mounted on the engine which takes the water your in to cool the engine. The other is a conventional circulating water pump, which is important in fresh water cooled engines . Most often it's the impeller failure.
