Q:hello, I'm looking for a massage bed for massive stroke patience ( my father)). but i can't seem to find a perfect one because there are so many of them. I'm hoping someone would recommend me a massage bed for a stroke patience. I heard a massage bed can heal a patience faster and thats the reason why i wanna buy it. please helpthank you in advance.
I work for a hospital and we use a lot of HilRom and KCI beds. Look into those two.
Q:I've recently adopted a cat and for the first week I let him sleep on my bed so he could adjust to the new home (I also hadn't bought a cat bed yet) Now he has a cat bed but he prefers to sleep in my bed or on my lap... Is there some method or trick to teach him to sleep in his own bed? Or am I just stuck with the In the bed, out of the bed, back in the bed, out of the bed back in the bed routine?
Teaching a cat to sleep in it's own bed is hard and often harder when they are used to sleeping with you. Here is a trick to try. If he sleeps beside you, on a pillow, try putting the bed where he sleeps. give him a treat before bed and pet him while you lay down for bed. When he gets out of the bed, stop petting, when he gets back in pet him again. After a week or so and he learns that in that bed it's good and he gets rewarded in there until you are sleeping then maybe move the bed to the foot of the bed and be sure to pet him until you lay down and dont pet him afterward if he tries to get attention outside of his bed. After a week of him sleeping in his bed then move it to the floor make sure you put him there when you go to bed, but after a while he will understand that is his bed. ** Just for who answered before me, cats can be trained. My sister's cats can sit, stand, lay down and even beg when comanded. My cat's have been trained to not get on cabinets, they also walk on leashes. Yes they are stubborn and like to do their own, but I can guarentee you they can be trained, it just takes a little longer. So whoever said they can't be trained is wrong.
Q:What is the difference between a twin mattress and a bunk bed mattress? Also is it necessary to get a bunk bed mattress and what is the benefit to doing so?Thanks.
twin matresss give you two for the price of one
Q:I think that's what I want. I love my current bed but hate the foot board. No matter how pretty I make the bed the foot messes it up. I went to Macy's last night and was looking at their pretty beds. Well i noticed it's just a box with a mattress on top (no boxspring)I came home and tried to find out how to build such a box, and all I can find are these low to the ground beds. Am I looking up the wrong name?
Platform beds are basically boxes. Most are low to the ground, but if you are going to make one, there is nothing stopping you from making it higher! Platform beds usually do not have box springs, just the mattress, which is why they are lower. If you use a box spring also, it should be normal height. Look at captain's beds. They are the same design, but usually higher than platform beds.
Q:Bed size: 1.8m (6 feet) what does bed mean?
1, this is the length of the bed, at 1.8 meters.2, in most cases, is 1.5 * 1.8 meters long.3, if you don't know yourself, you can ask the people around you.
Q:Wouldn't you say a bed needs to at least be a level resting material that is raised off the ground? What would you consider a bed? Im just asking cause my girlfriend is having this argument with me and she says that the mattress on her floor is a bed. Or she also says that the floor itself is a bed. I say a floor is a floor and a bed is a bed. What do you guys think?
Bed is a relative word. Whatever you believe a bed to be is a bed. For example, the word bed is a bed. Just look at it.
Q:I'm looking for bedding that's colorful and good for the dorms. Colors like pink, orange, lime green, aqua blue. It can be any type of cover. Any advice on bedding or what to choose would be good. Some links would be great too, thanks!
OKorder has the greatest choices of twin xl comforters and comforter sets.
Q:what is the best most comfortable king size bed?
Most people worry that it will be too big for the room, whereas others understand that more bed space equals better sleep. Weighing up the pros and cons of a king sized bed are integral to calculating whether the investment in a larger bed will benefit you. Try considering some of these questions. According to the Better Sleep Council, choosing a bed that is too small is one of the most common mistakes people make when buying a bed. When considering king size beds versus queen size beds, the only real difference is the size. Sleeping comfort and the size of the bedroom are two factors that influence the decision on what size mattress to buy.
Q:i want to build some raised beds. i have room for 12 6x3 beds. but, i do not have a lot of money to spend on this and i will need to buy dirt. i dont need to build them all this year but would like to do as many as possible. i looked up pressure treated wood and dont feel comfortable using it. how about pine? will that last at least like 5 years? any other ideas? also how about grass between the beds it is in my yard. thanks
Pine won't hold up, cedar will but it's very expensive, and any treated woods are bad because of chemicals they may give off. Many people use cement blocks, stacked two high, in a brick/subway tile pattern to give them strength. You'll need compost along with soil and other amendments to create a good quality bed. It's quite expensive to start, so do some research on the blocks and the cost of soil and amendments so you are sure it won't cost more than you can afford. Or start with smaller beds and work up over time.
Q:My baby is one month old and I need to know if it is dangerous for her to sleep in my bed? Also what kind of bed should we get her?
my baby is almost 3months and has been sleeping with us since she was probably 3 or 4 weeks. when she was sleeping all the time she slept in her bassinet but since she started being up a lot more she realized she was in there and didnt like it at all. so we just put her in bed and she falls asleep on her own besides nap time. but i think its ok as long as you know she is there and dont roll over her at all thats dangerous. and no pillow and tight sheets no big blankets only baby blankets make sure she isnt next to anything that she can roll under and suffocate. even if they are so tiny they still might roll you just want to be safe. if you decide not for her to sleep in your bed get her a crib or even a bassinet until she is bigger
