Q:ive seen a lot of fuel treatment additives on the shelfs.I want to know what is a good one to use on a chevy 350! i know i have to use the ones for carbs and i know quite a bit about fuel additives, but i want to know which is the best one for a chevy 350. I want to keep the build up off of my pistons and values, to keep the engine running smooth. It runs good right now, but i want to keep it that way! please give me some names and if possible, prices! Thanks a lot-)
Bad module. Depending on the make and model this could be the single most expensive part on the car excluding the engine and transmission. You could try to have the system flushed but I doubt that would help.
Q:I‘ve been told to put in something like Lucas Oil Stabilizer or one of the store brands. Is this necessary or a waste of time.
oil has all the additives you need for your engine. It is unnecessary. You would be fine without it.
Q:I live in Central Oregon where when you dig, you hit rock. For this reason I made raised beds and bought a few yards of soil. What do I need to add to this soil ? I am thinking of buying worm castings, any other suggestions?
Grow your own worm castings. I do. Buy an 18 gallon storage bin from whomever you buy from. Drill holes around the side of the box for airHoles are just beneath the lid on the box portion. Fill the bin with shredded newspaper and get an order of red wigglersnot earth worms. Give them all your vegetable scraps and shredded paper. By Spring you wil have all the worm castings you want for free. No one even knows my storage box is a worm bin because it just looks like a storage box. Add as much compost as you can rally up to your raised bed. Rake up your old leaves and shred them. I rake all my oak leaves up in the spring and run them through a shredder and add them to my soil. The shredder is a cheap Black Decker leaf shredder that costs about $30. Add pine needles if you have them around. Start your own compost pile. I dont even have a bin. I just go over to the edge of the woods and dump all my grass clippings. After a few weeks, I throw them all in a bucket and add to my soil. Good source of nitrogen. You can use fresh grass clippings but do not let the fresh clippings touch your plants or the plants may burn. If you heat with wood or have a source of wood ash, add some of this to the dirt. Do not use wood ash that has had anything other than wood burned in it. If you want to know more about the worm bin, give me an email and I will give you more detailed instructions.
Q:Can someone please explain to me in layman‘s terms the difference between additive and subtractive colors? I have looked for this on the web but it is all to confusing.
Subtractive colors the colros are generated from the light source in the area. like the sun, a flash, lamps etc. When you print you are using subtractive colors. CMYK Cyan Magenta Yellow and Black. printed materials will be printed in using these colors. Light will hit the ink and it subtracts everthing except that color. so when you look at a cyan (light blue) color on an ad in a magazine the light is hitting the paper and all the other colors in the sepctrum are being removed thus allowing you to see just the cyan. and if I want purple I need to subract the with cyan and magenta inks Additive colors are Red Green and Blue. These are used on things like computer screens and TV's. The main source of the color is the electronics it's self. since it is generating the colors nothing gets subtracted only added. thus they are additive colors. so to make purple I need to add blue and red.
Q:Thanks!
This Site Might Help You. RE: What is the additive inverse of -a/2? Thanks!
Q:Hello car mechanics, does regular gas at shell have additive? if doesnt, im going to switch to shevron regular coz it has techron?
All gasoline has additives and cleaning agents in it. Techron is a good additive. Personally I wouldn't be worried about it. All gas is clean now days.
Q:4/9 is the additive inverse of which number?-4/9-9/44/99/4
-4/9 x is the additive inverse of y IFF y + x = 0 Thus the additive inverse of a real number is the negative of that number, since you have +4/9, the additive inverse is -4/9 Edit: Actually, what I have written is not really the definition of the additive
Q:how to find the additive inverse of *square root* 3 then add 5?
the additive inverse is just the negative. so the additive inverse of sqrt3 + 5 is - sqrt3 - 5
Q:name the additive and multiplicative inverse for each number and please explain what they each mean0.4-11/16thanks!
Multiplicative Inverse Definition
Q:US Lubrizol gasoline additive is good
