I am very craft- oriented, and have made numerous knitted scarfs, crocheted blankets (still in the works), and cross stitch patterns for family members. I have made 2 large cross stitch patterns, one for my grandma (took me 2 years to do) and one for my dad (2 months). My mom's birthday is coming up, and I was wondering if I should give her 1000 paper cranes as a present? I haven't yet given her anything that I made, and I feel bad about it. I don't have enough time to cross stitch a pattern or anything, and I can easily make 1000 by December. Would it be a sentimental present? Should I do it? Would she like it? If not, what should I get her? I want it to be something that I made so that it will be personal.

Lol if you *really* want to be crafty... Get a spring (Or several) Glue it to the bottom of a box. Then glue a cardboard piece on top. Then put something heavy... (For example, a glass crane, shoudn't cost much) and put all the paper cranes under it. Then... when she opens the present and takes the glass one out the paper ones will fly everywehre :D

Q:I know how to make cranes and I'm pretty fast at doing so but in pictures I see of crane leis the cranes look like they're folded differently so that they can be stacked on top of each other.. Can anyone teach me how to fold like that so that I can make a paper crane lei?

But I do different from step 11 on Step 11: Normally they fold along the red line. I dont. On step 10 you see the cross line in the center +. I then fold the right pointy toward the center. Do the same for all. Step 12: I the filp the right top layer to the left, same with the back side. Step 13: fold the bottom point to the top(one layer only) filp to back side, do the same. Step 14: flip right layer to the left again, same with the back side. Step 15: Pull and done.

The DiMera's have been around longer than the Crane's. Alistar is the more gruesome because he messes with his own family memebers whereas Stefano they do anything for their own.

Q:A Korean kid at my school made me one in a new kid meeting. Sadly, he made it with my hall pass that needs to be signed with the teacher that organized it. But when she had to sign it she ripped it up and he won't make me another one! How can i make one myself?

I was going to do that once when I was about eleven... I got to like 156 and then stopped. Too many, and I had other things to do. I'd like to do it again though, maybe see if it's real or not this time... even if it's not, it would be pretty awesome to have that many cranes. I'm not sure if it will really make your wish come true... you have to make your own wish come true, folding paper can't really do that. But maybe it can help some. It's worth giving it a try.
