By bucket type and material, there are common bucket, imitated original bucket, reinforced bucket and rock bucket, which are made from domestic high-tensile structural steel 16Mn (Q345B), in addition, the tooth plate and side edge board of reinforced bucket and rock bucket can be made from domestic high-quality wear-resistant steel NM360 and Sweden ultrahigh-strength wear-resistant steel HARDOX according to customer demands.

It's not rocket science. You use them like snap binders. Best way to extend the binders is to grab both hooks and make the center section with the handle on it rotate around the hooks...be careful not to whack yourself in the face/head when you do it. Then set the hooks as far apart on the chain as possible and tighten it up. Actually it won't take all that much to get the job done. Occasionally check them enroute. I've used both snap and ratchets and prefer the ratchet binder myself.

So I'm not clear on what this person meant -- perhaps they misunderstood and thought you were asking if you could head up a dig yourself. In fact, at the University I attended Archaeology was considered a sub-field of Anthropology and you had to get your degree in Anthro even if you took the full curriculum for Archaeology. If you were intending to work on a field dig they would certainly prefer that you had taken courses that taught field techniques and standards so that you understood what needed to be done. Most Chief Investigators (who are directly responsible for the field operations and daily oversight) have PhD's in Archaeology. Even with a PhD you can't just go out and start digging anywhere you wish. There are protocols to be followed.

Big difference in what youre going to do with the baby teeth on a small excavator in the 110 and under range, versus the teeth on a 1200. if youre working in ground that will allow, you can take a length of flat cutting edge, say, from a dozer, and weld it across the face of the teeth. This gives a larger wear face, resulting in much longer life.
