Product Description:

Excavators are heavy construction equipment consisting of a boom, stick, bucket and cab on a rotating platform known as the "house". The house sits atop an undercarriage with tracks or wheels. A cable-operated excavator uses winches and steel ropes to accomplish the movements. They are a natural progression from the steam shovels and often called power shovels. All movement and functions of a hydraulic excavator are accomplished through the use of hydraulic fluid, with hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic motors. Due to the linear actuation of hydraulic cylinders, their mode of operation is fundamentally different from cable-operated excavators.

Main Product Features:

  1. There are 3 pumps: the two main pumps are for supplying oil at high pressure (up to 5000 psi) for the arms, swing motor, track motors, and accessories, and the third is a lower pressure (700 psi) pump for Pilot Control.

  2. The whole machine has the elegant streamline design, reliable performance and high efficiency of working.

  3. Possess quality certification of ISO 9001:2000. Can pass CE test.

  4. A wide range of operating weight & bucket size for your choice.

Q:My father won an auction on the internet for a really nice excavator that looks too good to be true. The seller wants us to pay him first before he delivers it to us. I was wondering if there was a form of payment similar to escrow, where we transfer the funds, but the seller does not get to access it until the equipment is in our hand and we approve of it.
I am assuming you bought this on Ebay. Paypal is the online OKorder account that acts as an escrow account. You put the money in, which notifies the seller. The seller delivers the product then can collect the money. If you do not receive the item, you can contact paypal and they take that money right back out of the seller's account. A credit card does exactly the same thing. If you don't get the property, you have 30 to 60 days to contest the charge and get the money right back. Hope this helps.
Q:Since ore grades continue to get lower and lower it would seem that we will never run out of metals in the foreseeable future. Is this because mining methods are more efficient and economical?
In a gross historical sense, minimum grade for economic mining operations has decreased because of improved efficiency in the collection and treatment of the ore materials. Over the short term (say the past decade about), the rise in metal prices has made many marginal (often lower grade) deposits worthwhile to mine, meaning that even though the grade is low, there is still enough metal that can be recovered for less than they will earn from selling it. I do not think there is much gain in efficiency and effectiveness of collection and recovery that will be obtained into the future. Most of the technological developments that produce large improvements in efficiency and effectiveness have already been instituted (the industry is mature). The main driving force for making low grade ores recoverable comes from increase in product value these days, rather than in reduction of costs of production.
Q:i have experience running heavy equipment but not a excavator.any help is greatly needed.trying to impress new boss.
Like all the other machinery, it takes practice. If you have experience on other machines, you should pick it up quickly. Try to find someone to let you practice on it for a couple of hours.
Q:I have a Napa Gold 1085 oil filter, i bought years ago but i can't remeber what it fits, does anybody know
Don't despair! NAPA Gold Filters are made by Wix. So are all Crequest Premium Filters. Depending upon application you can expect to pay more for name brand Wix filters @ $7.00 each than NAPA or Wix at $5. - $6.00.
Q:im thinking about starting to use it but how hard is it to clean
I wouldn't recommend it. It's messy, hard to clean, and can cause impaction.
Q:Explanation of tail slewing and tailless rotation of excavators
Moving arm side shift deviceThe front part of the body equipment boom side shift device, so as to realize the direct mining work similar to wall area, without frequent driving. With the small tail structure, narrow areas should be handled freely.Tailless slalomThe Kubota small excavator uses a small, tailless, rotating structure that does not exceed the width of the vehicle when the upper part is turned, so it is free to operate in narrow areas. The latest hydraulic systemThe system is not affected by the load size, but the hydraulic fluid flow is fully allocated according to the amplitude of the joystick. Therefore, the operation can be done easily according to the intention of the operator. At the same time, because of the small load of the engine and the unnecessary loss of the flow rate, various micro operations and compound operations can be realized.Original engineKubota is one of the few independent manufacturers of engines. Equipped with a small excavator engine, condensed for nearly a century of experience and technology, power surging, can meet all kinds of harsh occasions of operation.Clean engineEmissions of compounds that cause environmental pollution are minimized, a low fuel consumption clean engine that meets the next generation of needs.
Q:We have friend who's an excavator that said he'll help us make a french drain. Now, how to clean up the musty probably moldy but definitely dirty basement? It's unfinished, and really wet right now. My husband wants to spray the whole place with bleach and close the door for a week. Bad idea?
The first course of action is to eliminate the moisture that is causing the mold to grow. That should be partially accomplished with the new drainage you are having installed. Alternatively you can install a drain tile internally along the basement walls, which can be done without messy excavation, by jack hammering a few inches off the floor slab close to the wall, and laying a proprietary internal drain tile over a bed of gravel and a sump pump. Internal systems do the same thing french drains do but they cost about 50% less to install and are serviceable, which is why good companis offer Transferable Lifetime Warranty on them. Anyway, once you solve the drainage issue, run a dehumidifier in the basement to bring the relative humidity levels down to around 50%. That will cause the mold to dry out and stop releasing spores. Spores are the problem with mold. They are airborne, they trigger allergies and they cause mold infections to spread. When the mold is dry it can be safely removed, with a bleach solution. If you try the bleach while the mold is still active, it might release even more spores in the air. Mold is a living thing and will try to survive when under attack. When the mold is dry, wipe walls and floors with it. If there is mold in wood, fabric, paper, drywall or anything organic and porous, those materials will have to be removed and discarded, because according to the US Center for Disease Control, there is no way to effectively or safely remove mold from such surfaces. However, if the contamination is wide spread, consult a professional as only mold remediation pros have the proper gear, technique and products to disinfect large mold infestations.
Q:About to do some excavation in Utah will be digging a 16x56 hole with excavator 8 feet deep that has to be on grade im only use to ground in Virginia.. so is the ground near Salt Lake City Utah hard? or is it sandy? i've heard both
Most of the ground near Salt Lake City is sandy, silt deposits from the river. The higher in elevation you go from the valley floor, will get rockier and rockier.
Q:what colour are kobelco excavators. blue or green?
They are green.
Q:I was recently digging a post hole and scraped my undergound electric cable. The post hole digger damaged the insulation and scraped one of the wires. It sparked a lot then started smoking. I still had power to all parts of my house. The wire was not cut in half. Only the casing was damaged. In fear of being charged by the power company to repare the damage, I simply filled in the hole. Can anyone tell me if I can expect the exposed wire underground to give me any problems?
Gopher State One Call has the following information: ====quote==== Damage to Facilities Subdivision 1. Notice; repair. (a) If any damage occurs to an underground facility or its protective covering, the excavator shall notify the operator promptly. (b) An excavator shall delay back filling in the immediate area of the damaged underground facilities until the damage has been investigated by the operator, unless the operator authorizes otherwise. The repair of damage must be performed by the operator or by qualified personnel authorized by the operator. (c) An excavator who knowingly damages an underground facility, and who does not notify the operator as soon as reasonably possible or who back-fills in violation of paragraph (b), is guilty of a misdemeanor. Subdivision 2.Cost reimbursement. (a) If an excavator damages an underground facility, the excavator shall reimburse the operator for the cost of necessary repairs, and for a pipeline the cost of the product that was being carried in the pipeline and was lost as a direct result of the damage. ====End quote==== If you damage an underground utility, you are responsible for notifying the operating company of that utility and you are responsible for any costs associated with repair. If you cover it up, you are breaking the law and will most likely be fined. The more time that passes, the more trouble you cause for yourself. I ran across an article for Louisana that stated each day that passes where you DON'T notify the utility counts as a separate violation with a separate fine. You may think I have power, I'll just leave it alone. But eventually it WILL SHORT OUT. It's already shorting if it's sparking and smoking. How much more is it going to cost when other utility property is damaged by that short and they trace it to your post hole? Now you're responsible for all the man hours spent investigating the problem along with the damage to the cable. Don't go another day without getting this resolved.
