Q:Can plastic surgery affect looks on offsprings?
Plastic surgery wont affect the appearance of ur offspring as it is determined by the genes. Plastic surgery only changes ur looks but does not affect ur gene expression in anyway. As such, the phenotype (physical charecteristics) of ur offspring wont be affected.
Q:PLASTIC SURGERY Thoughts?
I personally think that plastic surgery is something we can all live without, however in some cases plastic surgery is very necessary. Its wrong for doctors to perform plastic surgery on girls with just body obsession, or in other words obsess over problem areas such as the nose, when it is actually not a problem at all. If I had the money I personally would not get plastic surgery because I don't feel I need anything done. : )
Q:manufacturing of plastics?
Plastics are awesome! They often are viewed as a bane of modern existence, but in reality they are a key facilitator of modern life. Check Wikipedia for a pretty comprehensive mass of data relevant to your questions. BTW: one thing many people don't appreciate is that plastics are generally made out of petroleum - that is, they are one of the products that comes out of oil wells. That always spurs me to make a lot of effort in recycling plastics. As an aside, when I was a kid we were given a bunch of model trains and associated things that had belonged to my uncles several decades earlier. Amongst the things were a set of model buildings known as 'Plasticville'. By that time, plastic was seen as a pox on the environment, and I asked my mom about why on earth anyone would produce something that glorified plastics. She, correctly, pointed out how impressive plastics had been when they first appeared en mass in the 50s and 60s. Ever since, in spite of the environmental issues, I have viewed plastics as truly important for modern life and for progress in science and technology. HTH.
Q:Does plastic or Styrofoam contain more hydrocarbons?
Plastic is made almost entirely of hydrocarbons, and Styrofoam is just another kind of plastic, but with lots of air bubbles in it.
Q:Whaty is plastic made of.?
Hi, Plastics are basically organic chemicals and are compounds of Carbon. It derived its name from it having the property of plasticity, that is malleability, which means it can easily be manipulated into different shapes, unlike metals. Plastics can be made from natural polymers such as rubber and cellulose and most others are synthesized and polymerized (artificially created)such as PVC, from basic chemicals. There are so many different plastics we see in everyday use, such as; Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) - Buckets, tubes, Sachets,Cable s, etc Polystyrene(PS) - Foam, thermocole PolyAmide (PA) (Trade name Nylon)- fibers clothing tooth brush bristles. Neoprene (synthetic Rubber) - used in oil seals ( O-Rings) PolyEthelyne (PE) - Packing materials, Brief Cases, containers Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) (trade name Teflon) - coated on frying pans Urea-formaldehyde (UF) - adhesive used for making plywood Melamine formaldehyde (MF) - for making ubreakable crockery (cups and plates) Phenolics (PF) or (phenol formaldehydes) - Formica, laminates on plywood Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) - For precision parts and casings, used in casings of computers and monitors, automotive interiors Basically your home is a museum of plastics and if you are intersted you can experiment with them at home. Good luck
Q:how do you print on hard plastic.?
Because there are many different types of plastic there are many different ways of embossing plastic with writing, etc... For the most part embossing is one of the manufacturing processes used to make a plastic part that needs writing, etc... The best you might do as DIYer is to use labels glued to plastic, or if the plastic is hard enough then it could be mechanically etched. Painting is again determined by the type plastic that you want to paint. Composites that use resins (thermoset polymers) can often be painted where as molded products (thermoplastics) cannot usually be painted successfully..
Q:What are plastics?
As part of organic (Carbon Based) chemistry, they are polymers comprised of Carbon, Hydogren and Oxygen.
Q:What are the environmental pollution in plastic products factory?
Potential hazards". When the waste plastic packaging enters the environment, it is difficult to degrade, resulting in long-term and deep ecological environmental problems. First of all, waste plastic packaging mixed in the soil, affecting crops to absorb nutrients and water, will lead to crop failure;
Q:Plastic Surgeon vs. General Surgeon?
Sorry, but I don't recommend either of them both. Why considering surgery? Appreciate the looks you are born with. If a person loves you just because of your looks, then you should not considering being with him/her. Same as in making friends. Be beautiful inside. Put more self-confidence to yourself! I know people might not agree with this, but personally I won't consider either of them both. Sorry! :D
Q:plastic clarinet reed??
I've used them in both saxophone and clarinet. They're not perfect but very useful if you're in a band and are going to be playing with breaks in between- you don't have to keep them wet. I don't think the sound is bad myself, but I'm no expert- they're certainly better than a bad wooden reed. They're worth buying if only for emergencies.
