Q:I am confused as to the answer of this question. Please help.Indicate the status of the mitral, tricuspid and semilunar valves (whether they are open or closd) during the various phases of the cardiac cycle. Discuss the pressure in each of the relevant chambers or blood vessels during the phases with reference to the opening or closing of the valves.
A heartbeat is a two-part pumping action that takes about a second. As blood collects in the upper chambers (the right and left atria), the heart's natural pacemaker (the SA node) sends out an electrical signal that causes the atria to contract. This contraction pushes blood through the tricuspid and mitral valves into the resting lower chambers (the right and left ventricles). This part of the two-part pumping phase (the longer of the two) is called diastole. The second part of the pumping phase begins when the ventricles are full of blood. The electrical signals from the SA node travel along a pathway of cells to the ventricles, causing them to contract. This is called systole. As the tricuspid and mitral valves shut tight to prevent a back flow of blood, the pulmonary and aortic valves are pushed open. While blood is pushed from the right ventricle into the lungs to pick up oxygen, oxygen-rich blood flows from the left ventricle to the heart and other parts of the body. After blood moves into the pulmonary artery and the aorta, the ventricles relax, and the pulmonary and aortic valves close. The lower pressure in the ventricles causes the tricuspid and mitral valves to open, and the cycle begins again. This series of contractions is repeated over and over again, increasing during times of exertion and decreasing while you are at rest. The heart normally beats about 60 to 80 times a minute when you are at rest, but this can vary. As you get older, your resting heart rate rises. Also, it is usually lower in people who are physically fit.
Q:How can the flange butterfly valve be installed on the pipe?
It is better to install it vertically or horizontally, and leave some space for maintenance
Q:Types of butterfly valves
There are clip on butterfly valves and flanged butterfly valves,Manual, pneumatic, electric,
Q:butterfly valves d7a1x5
D71x-1.6? Or D371X-1.6, do you need butterfly valves for production or butterfly valves? The question perplexed us all.
Q:What is the difference between the installation and function of a butterfly valve and butterfly valve?
The principle of the valve gate valve is open and close cases, RAM direction of motion perpendicular to the direction of the fluid, valve can only be fully open and fully closed, can not be adjusted and the throttle. Gate has two sealing surface, the most commonly used mode gate valve of the two sealing surface forming wedge, wedge angle with valve parameters vary, usually 50, medium temperature is not high when 2 degrees 52. Wedge gate valve can be made into a whole, called the rigid gate; can also be made to produce micro deformation of ram, in order to improve its process of deviation, make up the sealing surface angle in the process, the gate is called the flexible gate. Valve closed, the sealing surface can only rely on medium pressure to seal, that is to rely on medium pressure to the gate sealing surface pressure to the other side of the seat to ensure the sealing surface seal, which is self sealing. Most of the valve is forced seal, that is, when the valve closes, to rely on external force to force the gate to the seat, in order to ensure the sealing surface sealing. Gate valve with the stem along with a straight line of motion, called the lift rod gate valve is also known as the bar gate valve. Usually there is a trapezoidal thread on the lifter. The rotating motion is changed into a straight line through the nut at the top of the valve and the guide groove on the valve body. That is to say, the operating torque is changed into the operating thrust. When opening the valve, when the gate lift height is equal to 1:1 times of the valve path, the passage of the fluid is completely unblocked, but at run time, this position is unable to monitor. In actual use, the top of the stem is used as a sign, i.e., the open position, as its fully open position.Temperature changes appear to consider locking phenomenon, usually open to the vertex position, and then rewind 1/2 1 circle, as a fully open valve position.
Q:What does butterfly valve do?
5, connections are flanged, wafer connections, welded connections and lugs on the clip connection. ?Drive in the form of manual, worm gear, electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic linkage actuator, can realize remote control and automation.Advantages of butterfly valves1, opening and closing convenient, fast and labor-saving, fluid resistance is small, you can often operate. ?2, simple structure, small volume, light weight. ?3, to transport slurry, accumulation of fluid in the pipe outlet at least. ?4, under low pressure, can achieve a good seal. ?5, good regulating performance.Disadvantages of butterfly valve1, use pressure and working temperature range is small. ?2, poor sealing. ?Butterfly structure can be divided according to the bias plate, vertical plate, inclined plate and lever type. According to the form of sealing can be divided into soft sealing type and hard sealing type of two. The soft sealing type usually adopts rubber ring seal, and the hard sealing type usually adopts metal ring seal. ?By connection type can be divided into flange and clamp connections; press can be divided into manual transmission, gear transmission, pneumatic, hydraulic and electric types.
Q:1st where is my zone valve? I have an old Burnham gas baseboard heater2nd What do I do?My last resort is calling a proffesional.
You may have only one circulate pump on the boiler. If you want to check the zone valve there is a small handle on the valve you can lift up and this will open the valve manually. It will be found on the (usually) green valve on the return end of the copper pipe. It should have a red and white wire attached. If this is opened manually and you get heat you can replace the top half of the valve by twisting it off and exchanging it with a new one. I think they are around $35.00 bucks or so at Home depot. You can keep it open without and fear. This means you will only have a one zone boiler and all baseboard s will get heat instaed of being zoned
Q:What's the difference between a clip on handle butterfly valve and a turbo butterfly valve? Where are they used?
Depending on the size of the valve and the opening and closing torque, the transmission mode is different (handle or turbine).
Q:My bike has now 6200 miles on the odometer. The manual says that a valve adjustment should be performed every 6000 miles. But the bike runs fine. Can I just have the valve checked or should I have them adjusted even though the bike is fine? What will happen if I just keep riding it?
In reality, lots of bikes go their entire lives without a valve adjustment. In my opinion that is a great way to ruin a bike though. They have a maintence schedule for a reason. If a valve isn't seating, it can hurt performance and the valve will not be able to transfer heat to the head. That can burn a valve and cause detonation. You have to check valves to adjust them, and the labor for just checking will be nearly the same or identical to doing the adjustments. I do all my own wrenching, so money isn't really an issue, but if I were you, I would just bite the bullet and take it in.
Q:The difference between the directly buried gate and the flange valve and butterfly valve
The flange gate valve is stable and reliable when used in the pipeline, so the flange gate valve is used on the high pressure pipeline.Butterfly valve refers to the closure of parts (valve or butterfly plate) as the disk, around the valve shaft to achieve rotation and closing of a valve, the main cut off on the pipe and throttling role. Butterfly valve headstock is a disc shaped disc, in the valve body around its own axis of rotation, so as to achieve the purpose of opening or closing or regulation. Butterfly valve used in furnace, coal gas, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, city gas, hot and cold air, chemical smelting and power generation environmental protection engineering system, conveying a variety of corrosive and non corrosive media pipeline, used to adjust and cut off the media flow.
