Appendix: Cable Properties
1. The cable is characterized by anti-acid and anti-alkali, anti-oil, and anti-aging, etc; Shielded type is anti-interference.
2. Low smoke and low halogen wire and cable has low fuming amount, releasing little hydrogen chloride, so on fire, it cause little corrosion, danger and damage to equipment, people and environment.
3. Cross-linked polyethylene insulating cable has large current capacity; and it is light and handy in structure. It is not restricted by drop. Cable short time over loading working temperature should not exceed 130
; Total short circuit temperature not exceed 250; Lasting for no more than five seconds.
4. fire-resistant cable can work for over 90 minutes under 750
-900; the fireproof properties test accords with GB12666.6 standards.
Cable Properties Index
Low smoke and low halogen Properties Index:
1. hydrogen chloride gas release amount ≤125mg/g
2. smoke density ≤300
3. Fire-Resistant Properties and burning test Grade B Qualification
Cross-linked polyethylene Properties Index:
1. Environmental stress cracking ≥500hr
2. medium tangent angle ≤0.003
3. degree of cross linking ≥75%
Fire-resistant cable Properties Index:
1. It can work for over 90 minutes under 750
-900;
2. Burning Test Grade B Qualification
Shielded cable Properties Index:
1. Little medium consumption, anti-interference, strong transmission signal
2. Heat resistant, radiation resistant, antiseptic, waterproof and airtight.

Q:My girlfriend recently damaged (beyond repair) her hp touchsmart tm2 notebook pc Power Cable. I was wondering if laptop power cables are pretty generic, or is there a specific one that i need to order?
I busted my Compaq laptop power cord a few months back and I was able to find another at Walmart to replace it - it set me back $75 which sucked but it was a fairly easy replacement. I imagine you'll find the same to be true with your HP. Good luck.
Q:I bought a 9800 gtx card, and it needs 2 power cables connected to the power supply for it to work. It's a monster card. My power supply has one pci express power cable only. Will I need adapters to plug into my power supply?
The adapter must have two of the four pin Molex connectors. It uses three of the wires, in the four pin Molex connector. (3 wires x 2=One 6 pin PCI-Express power connector)
Q:I need power cables for my sony laptop
Go search online or maybe buy at your local computer shop :)
Q:i soldered in one of those ribbon cables on to my hp's laptop power button cause the old ribbon was failing. anyways i am having some issues with this new cable1 the laptop will power on by itself if i insert the ribbon into the motherboard connector2 the only way to power off the laptop is to remove the cable from the mother board connector and that means opening up the whole laptop3 like i said it will power on by itself so that means that i cant turn it on/off with the power buttonevery thing is soldered correctly i dont understand also i am not sure but does the cable have to be like the old one cause the new one i soldered in looks the same? could it be that it needs that one particular cable replaced again? please help me i am sad
Soldered where ? Most ribbon cables are never soldered.. They are designed for push / cold-weld fit to connectors And soldering the cable risks melting the insulation between the cores in it (as they are not designed for heat) if you solder the motherboard, you risk damaging the wires (and vires) in the several layers of printed circuits (they are quite fine, multi layered not dual external visible only) I suspect you have damaged the cable (internally) update: from those pictures, it is clearly meant to be purchased 'as an already assembled' piece What I suspect has happened, is that there is a small sliver of solder etc (or dirty flux) between the tracks. Those are really low current, circuits, so does not take much 'leakage' to cause a contact to 'appear' closed. Repairing such things, often requires a very very narrow soldering bit and also fine solder / flux. I have seen most people use a microscope to do those repairs before - due to the likelyhood of small bits getting in the wrong place (and tracking unexpectedly occur). A good flux remover / cleaner would be useful ? Is the cost a replacement button complete with cable not cheaper to buy (OKorder is my favorite location for PC parts, shipped in from HK typically)
Q:Wire and cable should be used in parallel when the attention
Have to fight trumpet, mainly to protect the cable jacket is not scratched
Q:ok so i opend up my machine, and i bassicly took apart the processor and removed the dail up pci card thingy, then i put it all back together and i also took off the case, which meant removing all case power leads, quot;power SWand power led etc. but i put them all in the same place i took them out, well i think i did, theres so many different slots it they could go into, it would take at least 500 attempts to find the right slots for all, not to mention the fact i might blow the board. so has anyone got the manual for this motherboard. or no where to find an online one. cus i need to know where to plug them in. thanks
With maximum motherboards there is purely one thank you to attach the flexibility cable to the board, otherwise it purely wont in effective condition. i think there's a splash notch on the cable which ought to line up with the notch on the board
Q:I need to replace the power cable for my HF M300, but I'm having trouble finding the proper one. Can somebody tell me what it is I need (preferrably at OKorder)? Thanks!
The power adapter that came in the box is Canon's CA-570. Search for that at OKorder.
Q:do you know if there any router power by rj45 cable not an AC adapter?
If i rember right a CAT 4/5/6 all gve 2.5Volts Nothing close to rune that. And you would not want to pull that load on your mother board that would make it die way FAST If you dont have an outlet you could look in to a battory pack
Q:I feel like this is a stupid question but yeah, I m getting a PC and wonder about all the cables. It doesn t have vga output so I m going with a separate hdmi cable to the screen, but power cables I suppose will be there? Like that s not a separate thing ooor...?
If you are buying a PC that is bundled with a monitor, all of the necessary cables to set it up should be included (except a network cable). If you are buying the PC and monitor separately, the PC should come with a power cable, and may or may not include a video cable. The monitor should include a power cable and at least one video cable that the monitor supports. Monitors will typically come with a DVI cable and a DVI to VGA adapter if DVI is supported. If you are using a television instead of a monitor, it will likely only come with a power cord. You would need to buy your video cable separately.
Q:I am upgrading a two-year-old higher end HP tower to include a mirrored hard drive. I did a little vacuuming and inspection and plan to order the exact model drive which is in there now. I noticed that the SATA cables used include a simple plastic latching mechanism in the connector. I checked CDW and found quot;latchingcables made by Startech which I assume should work (but the latching part is made of stamped metal). My biggest question is the power connector. The factory installed molex-to-SATA adapter also has this latch mechanism (on the black hard drive side), but I cannot find a cable anywhere mentioning a latch on the power connector. Is this something specific to factory installation? Thanks.
No. Latching cables as you call them are available at retailers. Try Newegg...
