INSUL-7 is  insulating castable refractory and can be  used  as back up lining in vessels and furnaces up to 1100C.

These are made from very Light weight aggregates and high alumina cement . These are used as Pourable refractory since it contains requires high quantity of water for casting.

Q:How to distinguish the construction fire-proof material rating?
Currently the national standards divide building materials as follows: A1, A2, B, C, D, E, F. External wall thermal insulation fire rating can be basically divided into: A1, A2, B1, B2, B3 and other levels. Class A is non-combustible, class B1 flame retardant, class B2 combustible, class B3 flammable. Combustion performance grades of building materials and products are divided into class A1, A2, B, C, D, E, F. And grading of flooring materials and pipeline thermal insulation materials is also stipulated separately, whose combustion performance grade is distinguished by the subscript fl and L respectively. ie. Combustion performance grades for ordinary building materials and products are A1, A2, B, C, D, E, F; combustion performance grades for paving material are Alfl, A2fl, Bfl, Cfl, Dfl, Efl, Ffl; combustion performance grades for pipeline thermal insulation material are A1L, A2L, BL, CL, DL, EL, FL.

Material of Class A fire doors can be divided into steel and wood, so fire doors can be divided into fireproof steel door and fireproof wooden door. The duration of fire resistance: fireproof window of level A shall not be less than 1.5h, while level B shall not be less than 1.0h. The frame of both fire proof windows A and B are made of steel, and the glass, not less than 26mm, is composite insulation fireproof glass. Monolithic fireproof glass window is neither B fire proof window nor A fire proof window, but non insulated fire proof window.

The following is fire endurance of A class fireproof glass curtain wall. Fire endurance of the fire window: A class fire window: no less than 1.2h; B class fire window: no less than 0.9h; C class fire window: no less than 0.6h. Technical requirements: 1. Materials and fittings: (1) Window frame should adopt the steel frame or wood frame with certain strength so as to guarantee the integrality and stability of the fitting; (2) Steel frame and mound layer can choose the galvanized steel sheet or stainless steel sheet. Its selection standard is in line with provisions of Article 5.1 in GB12955 "General Technical Requirements on Steel Fire Doors"; (3) Selection standard of wood frame and mound layer should be consistent with the provisions of Article 5.1.1 in GB14101 "General Technical Requirements on Wood Fire Doors"; (4) Filler material inside the steel frame and wood frame should be incombustible material; (5) Fireproof glass can choose the qualified product with no influence on the fire resistance test of the fire window, and its light transmittance should be no less than 75% of that of the ordinary sheet glass with the same layers; (6) Sealing material between the frame and the fireproof glass should use flame retardant material which can play the role of fire prevention and smoke insulation in case of fire. Q:What is the difference between wear-resistant material and refractory material?
Focus is different. Wear-resistant material may or may not be refractory. Such as, aluminum oxide ceramics is both refractory and wear-resistant, and many organic wear-resisting materials are wear-resistant but not fire-resistant. First, refractory material should be refractory. It should be wear-resistant in special cases. High-temperature fluidized bed, trough, etc. need refractory material with high strength and good wear resistance.
