INSUL-7 is  insulating castable refractory and can be  used  as back up lining in vessels and furnaces up to 1100C.

These are made from very Light weight aggregates and high alumina cement . These are used as Pourable refractory since it contains requires high quantity of water for casting.

Spraying method and soaking method are generally used for timber surfaces which are no longer going through planing process, and thin plate fire retardant treatment, whose thickness is less than 10mm .
Q:What is the acceptance standard of refractory?
Feeler gauge is used to check the thickness of the refractory brickwork joint. The top of the gauge can not be sharpened. Feeler gauge is of the width of 15mm, length of 100mm and thickness of 1, 1.5, 2 or 3mm. The thickness is eligible when the depth which the feeler gauge is inserted in is less than or equal to 20mm. Ten places should be inspected per 5m2 of masonry surfaces. It is qualified when the condition in which thickness of the brickwork joint is 50% larger than a predetermined depth is not less than five times and it is excellent when the condition is no more than two times.

The first one is furnace bosh,second is the middle part of the furnace, The third is lower part of the furnace stack. if These parts are damaged, then we need an overhaul. Bosh, because damage to the middle part of the furnace and the furnace bosh are generally due to alkali metal and fusant erosion. the main reason for the lower furnace part damage is molten iron, slag. If you search on a worldwide scale, I might say you are ambitious!!! This major becomes an unpopular one and you must have to embark on graduate and PhD to specialize in it provided that you want to go abroad for further study. Wuhan University of Science and Technology may be the best school in this field with its close relatinship with many refractory manufacture factories across the country. Henan University of Science and Technology is also advisable in terms of this major, which probably promise you a job. Other universities in this regard are not quite familiar to me. You raised these questions, which shows that you are a layman to this major or not quite familiar with this major. If you have any questions, you can resort to me if I can.

Therefore, it has a large share in external wall thermal insulation. But it will emit polluted styrene gas when burning. It is a kind of class B material in construction.
