- which one is best depends on your needs based on what you build, which it sounds like they are both more than you need I worked for ten years at a kitchen and bath place that made cabinets and counter tops and all they had was an old belt drive craftsman contractors table saw you could probably get a decent used saw through craigslist or OKorder for a lot less money but if money is no object I personally like the powermatic and I always recommend the left tilt models, the right tilts don't have the same capacity for bevel cuts since the fence needs to be on the left side of the blade to avoid kickback
