The III generation biomass burner promoted in July 2014:

1. We use the casting modularized hearth. The boiler core is the only thing to be replaced in the post maintenance of burner. It is cheap and easy to change the modular fittings.

2. Generation III biomass burner adopts hyper heat-resistant casting material, replacing I and II generation material, which makes less cost and more stable performance.

Q:My boiler runs even though no water is in use and the thermostat is set below the room temperature.Is this ok ?
The water in the boiler has cooled down and it needs to reheat it to the temp setting. This will make sure that when you need hot water you will have it. This is a normal thing for it to do. The same thing happens with a water heater too. Hope this helps

High pressure boilers produce high pressure steam. If you need high pressure steam, you have no choice - you must have a high-pressure boiler. So you are asking the wrong question. You should be asking what are the advantages of high-pressure steam over low-pressure steam. And even then, it is generally the case that one does not choose high-pressure over low-pressure based on 'advantages' or 'disadvantages'. Instead, the choice is dependent on the needs of the process. For example, if the process is simple and requires steam only as a means of conveying heat from the boiler to a single point in the process, and if the amount of heat that is required can be met using a low pressure design, they that would be the choice since it is likely to be less expensive. Often, however, the process is more complex and requires heat at multiple points and at multiple pressures. In that instance, generating high pressure steam and then throttling it down through a series of stages of the process makes more economic sense.

I would have a heating contractor come and check your circulator pump and expansion tank. A defective pump could cause your problem. Also, if you have an old or defective expansion tank, air can be introduced into the system that way, so when you bleed out the air, the water recirculates the system and picks up more air from the tank and you will never get ahead.

There are antifreezes made for that specific purpose. It has to be able to take a higher temperature than a car antifreeze could stand. It costs about $900 for enough to fill a typical boiler. Q:On my steam boiler I have a McDonnell No 101 electric water feeder and when it come it over filling.?
Chances are the float is dirty which will cause overfilling. My old boiler had the same water feeder and I had to take it apart a couple times a year to clean the float. Rust and scale from the boiler water can stick to the float and housing. Refer to the web page below which has a link to a drawing that shows how to disassemble the unit. It is not a difficult task and be careful taking it apart because there is an O-ring that can be damaged. Clean all the parts with soap and water then reassemble. If it still overfills then it might be time to replace the unit.
