- Power cable size will depend on the output current rating of the genset. The conductor size shall be rated for carrying the maximum genset current contnuously and shall be rated for the voltage of the genset.
- Q:lost my original 7A cable and the uk wire is 2.5A
- The PS3 Slim's power supply is rated at 250W which works out to be just under 2.5A @ 110v. Since the PS3 only draws around 100W it should be OK. If you were using an Older PS3 then it would require more power and would not be safe with a 2.5A cable. Since a new cable wouldn't cost much you should probably invest in a better one anyway.

- What do you mean by power cable, it doesnt really matter, its in your case anyway and the 600W is enough to power most decent GPUs for a budget go for a AMD HD 6850/6870, a bit higher go for a GTX 560 TI or AMD HD 7870.

- The more powerful graphics cards require the 6-pin power connector to a PCI-E slot. The benefits of NOT requiring one are: 1) The card uses less power, which might save the expense of having to upgrade the power supply. 2) The card works with power supplies that don't have the PCI-E cable, without having to buy an adapter. The best card which doesn't need a power cable is the ATI Radeon 4670. The card models above that (like the GeForce 9800GT, Radeon 4830 etc) all require the cable.
- Q:Whenever I unplug the power cable, the laptop starts to lag, bad, and yes I do have a fully charged battery. This has been happening ever since I got the thing, and no it has nothing to do with the battery, and no matter how many times I re-plug the cable and take it out again, or just leave it in, it continues to lag. - Do you mean lag as in a slow OS. Well- Where is your SPEEDSTEP set at in your BIOS? You may have 3 or 2 settings which ARE affected when your Cable Power is removed it will go to a Bit Slower Processor Speed to prolong the battery. If after you change the settings in BIOS and it does this again, its likely need to be sent back for repair under Warranty as this is NOT Normal...
