Q:Can ceramic pots be washed with steel balls?
If there is no enamel on the surface, the metal particles of the steel ball will penetrate into the ceramic and thus look black
Q:How can I unclog my bathroom sink?
drano worked for me. but you could also get the imitations which are cheaper and have basically same ingredients. if it still doesnt work, get a metal hanger and fold it so its like a long rod with a hook. there may be hair in there ir something else preventing the water from going through. pluck out all you can. as a last resort, my dad had to disarm it a bit from under the sink and remove stuff by hand, but that was when the ring when down the sink. either way, first try drano but follow the instructions. then try the clothes hanger. then disarms. if all else fails, search for cheapest plumber around. good luck (:
Q:My bathroom sink drains very slowly?
Kelly, if you look as you do in the picture, and wash your hair in the sink, then it is a good bet that there's quite a wad of it in the drain. If you have a drain that has one of the pull up push down buttons near the back of the spigot, that drain plug that drops down into the hole will also catch and hold hair, eventually making a large clump to plug the drain. There is a new, small, snake type of drain cleaner available for less than $2 at most all the home improvement stores and probably hardware and large grocery stores. It's flexible plastic, with small thorn-like protrusions all along the outside of the unit and a round hole, for your finger to grab through at the top. The idea is to push the snake down into the drain as far as you can get it, then turn it around a few times and pull it out. If there's anything there, it will wrap itself around the snake and come out when you remove it. You may want to do this a few times if you get much on the first try, if you decide to buy one of the units. Some of the other answers were correct in saying that your landlord is responsible to keep the plumbing functioning properly, unless you have some sort of clause in your lease in which you've agreed to take care of it. And that's fine, if you have a very nice landlord, who gets right on these things. If not, however, it can sometimes be a long interval between when you alert him to a problem and when it actually gets fixed. The P trap under the sink may be partially or nearly all clogged with the hair and whatever else may have fallen down there over time, so you'll need to decide which way you want to go. For the $2 or less, it might be worth it to just try to make it better while you wait for professional help.

Q:Bathroom basin how much money
Choose the bathroom to love my home to see
Q:How do I fix my drain in my bathroom sink?
I used drain o when my sink got clog and was not draining and had no problems with it and my sink works better then ever now. I used the gel type, not sure if it matters. Though I also know that I had a friend use drain o in his tub and he believes it created a solid in his drain, since it completely stopped draining after using it. A few days later his drain started working again on it's own and the clogged seemed to slowly disappear. His drain works perfect now, so I would try drain o again if I need to. Though I hope to never experience what he did.
Q:bathtub and bathroom sink wont drain?
It sounds like the main branch that connects the two drains together may have a obstruction! More than likely it may be hair in the bathtub drain, and the sink. Try this: Fill up a large pan of water and put it on the stove, now heat that up to a boiling point. While that is heating up, go into bathroom and remove stopper from tub drain (if possible) and see if the drain is just clogged with hair. If it is, then use needle nose pliers or a hook of some sort to pull all of it out. That should do the job. Then continue with the step below. If you cannot get the stopper off or there's no visible obstruction, then continue to te next step.. Just make sure that both sink stopper are up and no visible obstruction is in the way. Next, carefully take the pan of boiling water and dump it right down the tub drain...let it sit for a couple minutes. Then next put a wet hand rag into the overflow (right above drain in tub) to cover up the opening so no air goes through the overflow for the next step. Now use a plunger and gently start plunging the water down. The trick to plunging is not to force the air down, but the suction up is where it works best! Pulling it up hard, and then gently pushing back down repeatably works well. If after 5 minutes no luck..wait until water goes down all the way, and then repeat the boiling water and plunging 2-3 times and that should do it. Let me know if that works for you.
