Q:Does anyone have any suggestions on a Great Feather Bed, that stays fluffy throughout the night, I don't mind if it requires fluff upon making the bed, but I don't like it to go flat throughout the night. I have been purchased one from QVC and did not like it, and it was not an easy return as the bed weighs about 20 lbs. Really really would appreciate anyone's input, please list the website if there is one to purchase the bed.: Feather beds sound better than they really are. The best of feathers will not stand up to being compressed for 6 to 8 hours. They are going to collapse and be flat or lumpy. To put it simply, you are really just chasing a dream of what you think a feather bed should be. I have slept on such beds when I was a kid and they are not really much by modern standards.

Q:Is it weird that ur gerbil eats bedding I'm using carefresh the soft bedding and my gerbil is eating it?: Are you sure s/he is really eating it? Gerbils will pick up their bedding in their mouth and then carry it back to make a nest/bed.

Q:If I steam every inch of my room with a steamer, as well as clean all my clothes, will I get rid of every single bed bug? When I say steam every inch I literally mean, under the box spring, under the bed, on top of the bed, on top of the box spring, the carpet, the closet etc. Will this help? Thanks an advance.: if you steam your room, you will kill all the bed bugs you contact, the problem will be it is doubtful you will hit every bug, so doing it daily for a week straight will give you a good chance of getting them. I am not sure if the shark type steamer will put out the volume for good results.

Q:Which is better fleece or bedding: My son had a guinea 2 guinea pigs and i made him get rid of them because the bedding was getting to expensive and the cage stunk sooooo bad. After months of him begging me for another guinea pig i decided to give him another try so i surprised him with another guinea pig i did some research before i got him and the new thing for guinea pig cages is fleece and so we set up the cage with fleece vs bedding and i am so glade that i gave in and got it for him because the fleece is the best there is no smell and if he spot cleans it the cage wont smell and saves allot of money. What u do is layer the cage with newspaper or a dog pee pad that u can 10 pee pads from the 99 cent store then if u use newspaper put a towel but if u used pee pads u don't even need a towel and just wash the fleece weekly and it will be cute and clean for sure.

Q:Woke up and found this on my bed. Does this look like a bed bug? It is little and has a reddish color: Alex, you have a problem. Just what you say here, you have bed bugs. I stress the plural. Where there is one...buddy, you have a multitude of guests. Sorry to say that. The little buggers, by my discription are, flat, reddish brown depending on how much blood they sucked from you. The more the redder they appear. Now don't think for a moment they like many people think they thrive in a dirty place, quite the opposite. Check on line for sure. Here are some solutions I have used: They hate extreme cold or hot. They hate moisture, like in water, catch one, flick it into the toilet and watch the sob die. Get the satisfaction of then taking a leak and say your words. There are sprays at your local pest removal place you can buy that can work great. Just don't inhale them. Your pillow for instance will be free of the sob's if placed in the microwave for 30 seconds to a minute. I have found that they really like a white surface. ie: a book's page etc. Strange as that may sound. Libraries even use sniffer dogs to find them. Because when you kill one, they stink like hell. Don't let it happen like I did and have your library privilages cancelled because of them. Vaccuum your bed, spray with the stuff...it might take 2-3 tries. They are stubborn. All the best to you.

Q:The first time we did it she didn't like it, but my husband made a make shift bed rail and I think that scared her. We found a bed rail at a yard sale, but now I am wonder if we should just move her on to her full bed. Instead of the toddler bed. My husband thinks it is ridiculous to move her to the full size bed and she should go to a toddler bed. Which do you think would work better? She has a convertible bed which goes from a crib to a toddler bed to a full size bed.: well i'd probably say a toddler bed they aren't as high and when they get to an age they can climb over the rail and hurt them sleves more. i have a toddler bed it's really low to the ground my son is still in the crib at the moment so i'm not sure how he'll be but i reckon a toddler bed is much safer.

Q:is it okay if my friend's hamster bedding is SAW DUST??: I use cotton cloth bedding which ensures that my hamsters are warm and cosy, but avoids the risk of them getting tangled up in it or choking. The cotton wool bedding is dangerous, as there have been many cases of hamsters eating the bedding (something that they often do) and being unable to digest it, causing their stomaches to swell and eventually die. Shredded newspaper is also a no no as the ink can run onto their skin, and cause them to become ill. Another reason against this bedding is that they can become tangled up and even lose limbs. Dont use cedar wood chips or sawdust as the amount of dust from these are extremely dangerous to your hamster and can cause severe respiratory problems.
