- I have found some large rugs at Goodwill. In my state prices vary a lot, but the cheapest price can be gotten with a little haggling at Goodwill and my cost of this used bedroom rug cost me just $20. If Goodwill is not available where you live then try thrift stores or the Salvation Army Thrift Store for sales and or auctions. You could save lots.

- Local carpet stores don t have access to a rug binder? Thats strange.. Look further, when I had my store we had a place that picked up and dropped off our carpet we needed to have bound or surged..It was a week turn around time for us. But to answer you question yes you can have a pc done any size , shape or form. Some additional options are a felt backing sewn on as an anti slip mat.Surging ran our custumers about 2.5 $ a l/f. and binding was $2.00 a l/f.. Of course this can vary but it ll put you in the ballpark , price wise.. Some carpet guys have a binding machine to bind edges for when they do a carpet base like a lot of hotels use instead of a wood base.Any flooring questions you can e mail me through my avatar.. GL.

- Very nice sheets, but the rug-link isn't there. The pattern on the sheets is so bold that I would be very hesitant to use pattern elsewhere in the room. I'd go with bold color in the room, maybe a pale cool pink on the walls, some throw pillows in cool pink magenta orange, and a small bright orange scatter rug on the floor beside the bed. Each pattern has it's own voice, and these sheets are lively and bold and have a strong voice. Too much pattern is like the difference between having one child in the room with you and working in a daycare. Bedrooms shouldn't be too visually distracting, seeing as we hope to fall asleep there.
- Q:I've read you shouldn't put them on hardwood because it doesn't allow the wood to breath or something along those lines. Secondly, if you use a rug without the rubber backing do you have to use a pad so it doesn't slide and scratch the floor?Thanks
- you can go to any home improvement store and get that rubber gripping to put on the back of any rug...its not a solid piece but is more like netting...its quite dangerous to not have any rubber backing on the back of a rug on a hardwood or tile floor as they will slide...we use the rubber backing on the giant floor rug in our living room as well as at our front door...our wood floors are fine..

- Q:I am replacing carpet in my living room, hallway and 3 bedrooms. All with one kind of carpet. I am looking for something durable, stiff, non-furry so it's easy to maintain and resist stain. Almost every store we visited is selling different type of fabric. I am getting very confused. So far the fabric I've seen are nylon, smartstrand, BCF Strudon... anyone knows the difference?

- Pick up as much beer as possible with paper towels. Use a solution of diluted vinegar. About 2-4ounces in a quart should do it. If the smell persists make the solution stronger. Pour the solution on the beer spill area and allow it to soak for a couple of minutes. Then dry the area as best as possible with paper towels. Place a fan on the rug at the spill and allow it to run until the it is dry. Check for the beer of beer and repeat if needed. You may want to use a carpet deodorizer from the cleaning section of the drug store after doing the above procedure. Soaking up as much of the beer and drying the rug is key to keeping the beer smell to a minimum.

- well for starters there is no such thing as a muslim prayer rug... its just a prayer rug used by muslims... islamically its okay.. BUT, if a person doesn't want to use one, all they have to do is put something in front of where there head will land in sujood so that people know they're praying and don't pass in front of them, and they're good to go! also they CAN have intricate designs.. unless of course you have ADD or ADHD and can't keep your focus for too long and your mind drifts away to the geometric prints lol...
