FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.

Q:I tried checking to see if my memory card readers are broken, but none. I used different types of pro duo cards, but after awhile it pops up error. I use to have it working fine. Does this mean i need to buy new memory cards? I have tried SONY and SANDISK and they all turn out the same. Gets me very frustrated.
My first guess would be to format the card for what it will be used. I am guessing a w800i is a phone or a camera. If you cannot format it right on the phone or camera, try to format it on the computer. Yes, it will erase anything that was on it before, but i would rather start over with pics and music than buy a new card. Hope it works for you.
Q:I would like to make a card reader but this card reader has to read/write 50 SD cards at the same time. Does anyone who know about it or any ideas to make this card reader? The purpose of this card reader is for SD card quality checking. As in this moment, I have to insert cards into the card reader one by one as the card reader can read one SD card each time. If I have to check 1000 SD cards, it is quite wasting a lot of times. Please help!
The question is that if a card reader from a scrap backyard will artwork with the present key card. Does a reader might want to be programmed or is it an basic change ? i might want to imagine the administration good judgment is contained in the european and the reader merely forwards the information examine from the most important card ? if so it truly is going to be achievable to interchange a reader unit it truly is suspected undesirable with none broking service reprogramming pastime ?
Q:HI. i've asked yahoo answers quite a few times how to get my videos from my digital cam onto windows movie maker. I got one reply which i thought might work. Putting my memory card into the computer. But does my laptop have a memory card reader?! Its a DELL INSPIRON 1300. if you have the answer. that would be ggggreat. i would give you best answer even if its a no :L! thanks.
Ehh. its easy to check just check the ports and see if there is a slot for you to slot in your card Anyway getting a card reader is cheap for less than 10bucks you can get a card reader just plug in a card reader to the USB port and slot in your card )
Q:I have a friend who knows a huge amount about computers, spyware, hacking, all of that stuff. They told me they could help me with my internet one day when I was struggling and I said yes because they're so good at all of that stuff. They installed some Realtek stuff on my laptop and gave me an antenna to pick up the wifi better.A little while later and I've been suspecting that they're spying on me. I think I'm just paranoid but today I found something installed called 'Realtek PCIE Card Reader'.It didn't come with my laptop, and from what I've googled I can tell it reads card information and I think it can be run in the background constantly by a third party?I'm really not sure but is this a way somebody could see my photographs etc. from their own computer?any help at all would be great
It's exactly what the name impliesa card reader based on a Realtek chip device. It should be physically located on your netbook and usually reads SD and SDHC cards, as well as a few other card formats. has nothing to do with spying or hacking Sam only way they would be able to do that is if they installed a keylogger (spying program or were to remote into your computer turn it off To disable Remote Desktop 1. Click System in Control Panel. 2. On the Remote tab, clear the Allow users to connect remotely to your computer check box, and then click OK.
Q:Does it connect to USB? What does it cost?
Bury? Buy? Yes, any computer store will have these and yes they connect to the USB port.
Q:I bought a laptop with an 8 in 1 card reader but the card slot looks like it will only accept SD card. How can I use this with my memory stick? Do I need an adaptor. Or am I missing something?
There are no standard 8 memory card formats so the ones supported by each reader will depend on the specific model. Your best bet is to google the specific reader model, but it'll likely support the more common formats, i.e. SD, Compact Flash, Smartmedia, Sony Memory stick, etc.
Q:Have a Canon Powershot A40 and a new computer with Vista , Can`t transfer from my camera and Canon says I need a Memory Card reader. Please walk me through what to buy and how it works, consider me a computer stupid person and go slooooow.
oh check this web for that cheap memory card bargain www x5 com au
Q:Can I just use the USB port that came with my camera to transfer pictures from my SDHC card to my computer? Or do I have to buy the memory card reader?
Most cameras work with the USB cable to transfer images and it is not necessary to buy one unless your camera does not support the USB cable(which is unlikely because it came with the camera. I have a memory card reader and I can see a slight increase in the copy speed of the images.
Q:HeyI am going to buy a HP TC1100 which comes with an SD card reader. This does not support SDHC cards.I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the card reader to SDHC? Or does it require a better motherboard? Thanks
MB's answer is good. That TC1100 is of 2003 vintage, so I really hope you don't plan to use this PC for any kind of heavy use or even video display.
Q:I use a card reader instead of a usb cable to put photos on my computer. When I plug in the card reader, the light blinks a few times, but the photos never load. What can I try.
In order. I'm going to assume that ou know that you need to go to My computer (and that your are on windows) and then find the drive letter that represents the card reader. If the drive does not show up in My Computer, it might be because the reader is trying to use a drive letter that is already being used so you'll need to Right-click My Computer Click Manage Click Disk Management and find the device that represents your card reader then Right-Click the device Click Change Drive Letter and select a new, unused, letter. If that's not the problem then 1- Try using a USB cable on your camera to see if it's the reader or if it's the card. (if that works go to #3 if not ) 2- Try plugging your camera into a different USB slot. 3- Try plugging your reader into another USB slot. 4- Try another USB card reader. 5- Take your card to one of thgose photo printing booths and try it there. 6- Your card is dead give up.
