- the two connected means a continous circut. Means it goes to something else. Tie the two blacks, from the fan with the grey. Your fan must have a light. And the white to the white. Your just compleating the circut. Cant really mess it up. green is ground ofc

- If it's a RCA type jack, just buy a new cable. Your method would normally work, but you really need a good solid connection. You can get a RCA cable crimper, which would allow you to attach a new RCA jack to the cable...but the kit will cost you as much as a new cable. Personally, I'd just buy a new cable.

- U JUST RUN THE HOT(RED) WIRE TO THE BATTERY. U ALSO MIGHT HAVE TO HOOK UP THE MEMORY WIRE(YELLOW WIRE) AND THE REMOTE ( SOLID BLUE) WIRE TO THE POSITIVE TERMINAL OF THE BATTERY AS WELL BEACAUSE SOME RADIOS WONT TURN ON WITHOUT THESE WIRES COONECTED. - Q:I am looking for some answers when it comes to soldering wires. Lets say I am using 6 to10 (22 AWG 2 conductor wires) and I want to solder those to 1 wire for power source and 1 wire for ground. Now lets say soldering 10 wires to 1 wire for power and 10 wires to 1 wire for ground. All the wires are the same AWG guage. Now that the wires are twisted together and soldered to the hot and ground source, by doing this will I actually make a resistor or change the amperage or reduce the voltage by soldering so much wires together to a 1 wire source? The power source I am using is 12 Volts. If anyone knows of anywhere I can find this information online, etc, I would appreciate it.

- Hello Kaitlin: It depends on what wires come from the furnace. You will need to go to the furnace and look at the wires. If it is a gas furnace (with air cond.), there should be a R terminal with a red wire attached this is the power line. The W terminal (heat) has a white wire attached. The G terminal (fan) should have a green wire. The C (common) terminal may have a blue or black wire (or not). The Y (cooling) terminal may have a yellow wire. If it is a heat pump, the wires will be R (power), Y (compressor), O or B (reversing valve), G (fan), C (common), the backup heat has different designations, from W2 to Aux, others. There should be a legend on the furnace to assist. Good luck.
