Specifications

1. Material is Q195(C is 0.06% ~ 0.12%)
2. Zinc coating is 40g/m2 ~ 60g/m2
3. Tensile strength is 400N ~ 600N

Galvanized wire's first stage is drawing.

there are two kinds of drawing machine: powder drawing and water drawing. powder drawing is fit for junior drawing(6.5mm~4.0mm). One powder drawing machine has 4 tanks and 4 molds. One tank is matched with a mold. Each of them are offered energy by a electromotor. 0.9mm(max)can be "eat" when the wire cross a mold. There are no loss of weight during drawing.

Water draw is used for senior draw.(≤4.0mm)The container is filled with water, soap and 8 molds. Compared with powder draw, water draw can save lots of room and the wire cannot be broken.

After drawing, the wire is thinner, but also very hard. The tensile strength is about 700N. These wire can be used to produce nail and mesh panel. For galvanized wire, it still need annealing

Galvanized wire's second stage is anneal.

Anneal is to low the tensile strength of wire. The stove is solid and built with red bricks. The architecture of anneal stove is cuboid. Different thickness of wire require different temperature. Range is from 700°C to 900°C. Output of the anneal stove, the tensile strength is 400N~600N.

Galvanized wire's third stage is chlorhydric acid washing.

After the draw and anneal, the wire is thinner, softer but also much more dirty. It needs chlorhydric acid washing to remove the impurities. Chlorhydric acid washing requires water pool and chlorhydric acid pool. The density of chlorhydric acid is 17%. In the Chlorhydric acid pool, there is a caldron used for the emission of vapor.

Galvanized wire's fourth stage: Zinc coating

After the chlorhydric acid pool, water pool is also necessary.

Q:Im trying to make a wire figure out of floral wire! HOW?!?!?! HELP!
take the wire and make the circle head first. then get the body wire and wrap the end of the to the head. get the right amount of wire for the arms and lay it across the body wire then twist it around the body in the middle a few times. for the legs bend them in the middle and wrap the bottom of the body around the bend.
Q:A wire has a resistance of 21.0 ohms. It is melted down, and from the same volume of metal a new wire is made that is three times longer than the original wire. What is the resistance of the new wire?
The resistance of the new wire is (in terms of its length, area resistivity); R2 = pL2/A2 And the resistance of the original wire is; R1 = pL1/A1 The ratio is;(resistivity will cancel because its the same for both situations) R2/R1 = L2A1/L1A2 given L2 = 3L1 R2/R1 = 3A1/A2 To find the new cross-sectional area ,require the volumes to be equal; L2A2 = L1A1 3L1A2 = L1A1 A2 = (1/3)A1 Sub this into the R2/R1 equation to get; R2/R1 = 9 R2 = 9R1 = (9)(21) = 189 ohms
Q:Wire 1 and wire 2 are made from the same metal. Wire 2 has a larger diameter than wire 1. The electric field strengths E1 and E2 are equal. A) Compare the values of the two current densities. Is J1 greater than, less, or equal to J2?B) Compare the values of the currents I1 and I2. Is I1 greater then, less or equal to I2?
The current will be more dense in the smaller wire. The value of the current is inversely proportional to the resistiance of the wire. Resistance = resistivity * length / Area since the wires are of identical material and length, the only thing left to vary is the cross-sectional area. Area is proportional to the square of the radius (diameter), so the current will be proportional to the square of the diameter. I2 is proportional to I1^2 I2 is larger than I1 .
Q:im hooking up a air/fuel tomorrow and i need to know what color the wire for the sensor signal is on my rt... i have 4 wires and heres the colors and were they are from. t/w or o/t from c124 b/lbl from c14 and c315 b gound and o/dg from fuse a... need answer thanks
It should be the BLK/ LB wire (although my wiring schematic shows that wire BLK/ GREEN), It will be the only circuit that have a varying voltage between 0-1 volt. Probe the wires with a DVOM and determine which wire has the signal, one wire will supply B+ for the heater, one is heater ground, one is reference supply voltage and one is signal return The signal return is the circuit you need to tap.
Q:2.4) A wire has a resistance of 19.2 . It is melted down, and from the same volume of metal a new wire is made that is 5 times longer than the original wire. What is the resistance of the new wire?
.4) A wire has a resistance of 19.2 . It is melted down, and from the same volume of metal a new wire is made that is 5 times longer than the original wire. What is the resistance of the new wire? Resistance = ρ * (L ÷ A) ρ = resistivity L = length A = cross sectional area L * A = volume of wire. The volume is constant L1 * A1 = L2 * A2 It is melted down, and from the same volume of metal a new wire is made that is 5 times longer than the original wire. Since the length is 5 times longer, the area is 1/5th of the original volume Resistance2 = ρ * (5L ÷ 0.2A) = ρ * 25 * L/A The new resistance is 25 times the original resistance = 25 * 19.2 = 96 Ω
Q:I m wondering if there s a Neutral Wire in this picture (yes I turned off the breaker to get this photo). I want to put in a quot;Smart Light Switchand they require a Neutral Wire. I ll have an electrician do the work, but want to make sure the wire exists first.
It's hard to tell from the switch and the color of the wires, but you also have an outlet in the same box as the switch. The outlet will have a neutral and, if it's on the same circuit, you should be able to use that.
Q:I have noticed that a room in my house is improperly grounded, and it needs to be redone. We do know that most of the wiring is made with a single core, copper wire. Would there be a hazard with using a multi core (speaker) wire for the grounding, or should we do the wiring with a single core wire.
multi-stranded wire is used when flexibility is needed such as pulling a wire through a conduit with multiple bends, the wire size depends on how many amps there will be and you circuit breaker must be sized correctly. NO!! you cannot use speaker wire because the insulation on the wire is not made for the higher voltage, a speaker may use around 24V while a home uses 120V or 240V. yes you can use multi-stranded wire in the same manner you use solid core as long as it is sized correctly for the amperage and over-current protection device (circuit breaker or fuse).... and the insulation type depends on the location and voltage it will be used for, for homes there is not much to worry about, but if it will be used around chemicals, oils or other petroleum products... or for high voltages the insulation type must be chosen accordingly.... solid core is easier to work with in a residential home because it holds its shape when running through joists or going around a bend.... stranded wire would almost act like wet spaghetti and need to be secured more than required by code and is normally contained in some type of conduit.
Q:how are lights grounded on a car? Seems like all the wires to the light have electricity running to them.
Is somebody suppose to know what light you're talking about?
Q:okay my apt building was built in 1975 I am changing my light fixture new from home depot and the ground wire, the black and white wire are basic on the new fixture. I am looking in the case box in my ceiling all I see is a black wire attached to red, and a yellow wire attached to a white wire which then attaches to another two white wires (then gos go's up behind the casing) I am not sure which is the ground here. There is a copper looking wire that is thick, thick it just isnt as malleable as the new ground wire that is on my new light fixture. It seems very difficult to maneuver.. Could this be my ground from the ceiling. It was attached to the mount of the old fixture my a screw.
All wiring is different but the basics remain the same. Before attempting anything please turn off the power. If I have the good picture in my head, there are extension wires added to the black and white this would be done if the wire run though the wall was too short and needed a little extra to get wired properly to a fixture. If I look at the bad picture in my head you have a jump cable attached which is running to a second outlet or light fixture. If the extra wires go back into the ceiling leading somewhere else then it is probably running to a different fixture and this isn't the best way to run electrical. It could potentially overload your circuit. If it has been working for 40 years without a problem you are probably ok, so long as the fixture you're adding is within the same category as the fixture you're removing. The thick copper wire will be your ground wire and should be attached to the box, and to the outlet itself with screws. Good luck with that fixture.
Q:The wire on my headphones were cut clean off in the middle of the wire. Is there any way it can be fixed? I tried to find out other ways but it seems one of the only ways is to strip the wire of its covering. Is there a way to fix it without burning the wires?
I totally agree with Mr. Smith. However, I would use heat shrink tubing for a neater look than the tape.
