Q:A 75kg painter stands on a 5.5m long uniform plank resting on a scaffold. If the plank's mass is 20kg , how close to the left end of the plank can he stand without tipping the plank? ( The scaffold supports are 2.5m apart, and the plank extends beyond the scafold supports, 1.5m on each end.)
The mass of the plank on the left side of the scaffold is: M? = (20 kg) × (1.5 m) / (5.5 m) = 5.45 kg The distance between the scaffold and the center of mass on the left side is: L? = (1.5 m) / 2 = 0.75 m So the torque of the plank on the left side is: T? = (5.45 kg)×(0.75 m) = 4 kgm The mass of the plank on the right side of the scaffold is: M? = (20 kg) × ((5.5 m) - (1.5 m)) / (5.5 m) = 14.5 kg The distance between the scaffold and the center of mass on the left side is: L? = ((5.5 m) - (1.5 m)) / 2 = 2 m So the torque of the plank on the left side is: T? = (14.5 kg)×(2 m) = 29 kgm Now, say the painter stands at X meter on the left side from the scaffold, so the torque added on the left side is: T? = X × (75 kg) The total torque on the left must be the same as the total torque on the right, so (4 kgm) + X×(75 kg) = (29 kgm) X×(75 kg) = (25 kgm) X = 0.333 m That is the maximum distance the painter can move away from the scaffold, so the distance to the end of the scaffold is: D = (1.5 m) - (0.333 m) = 1.167 m < - - - - - - answer
Q:Please give me the name and link to the photo of it. Thanks!
*Bamboo is the common-most as cheap and easily available but it is not as per the standard.
Q:I got mine done a few days ago and it's super swollen and bruised. I've been told they have pierced it wrong as they didn't use any needles and they just shoved the bar straight through. Is that right? Or should they have used needles? Thank you!
They definitely should have used a needle!
Q:the council has put non alarmed scaffolding on our flats and I have already seen a strange man climbing up. Will my insurance still be valid if a thief uses the scaffolding to break into my home?
~~Your insurance would cover you if anyone broke in, unless you set it up yourself (you didn't) so you have no control and insurance would cover this.~~
Q:I want to get this done this weekend but I'm not sure about the pain. I have my ear lobes done and the top of my ear done but I'm really worried about this one because I heard it's meant to hurt really bad. Please tell me how bad it hurts and any other additional information thanks :)
It does hurt and the healing process isnt fun either. Dont let pain stop you from getting it. In my oppinion its worth all the pain. Its over very quickly.
Q:How to weigh the weight per meter of wrist button scaffold
Heavy 17.07KG. The main component is 48 *, Q235 welded steel pipe
Q:Well my parents are going out of state soon and I want to get a Scaffold Ear Piercing but when i take the earring off does the piecing show?
you will get your bellybutton pierced or you will get your 2nd ear lobe holes pierced in case you have already got your first ones.. my widespread is the cartilage...I even have my spectacular cartilage pierced and that i like it.. verify you get a small stud nevertheless...you dont wanna seem TOO flashy stable success!!
Q:in the safety scaffolding?
If your talking about jobs, try Gladstone in Queensland or Karratha in WA. Plenty of jobs in safety and scaffolding there. Otherwise I don't know what you mean.
Q:is it safe to get an industrial/scaffold and weaving piercing at the same time?
It's not SUPER dangerous, but I wouldn't recommend getting them at the same time.
Q:i have two holez i the bottom of my ear and now i wanna get something done to the top i want eather a scaffold or a cartlige and a tragus what do you guyz think
well, i'd say cartilidge is the least painful and probably the most convienent out of the three. i did mine by myself a few times and i wasn't in pain at all. i'd reccomend getting it done though rather than doing it yourself. with a scaffold it is easy things to be caught in it like hair or something since it is a bar.. and my friend got her tragus done. it is the first time i've ever seen her cry a ton. i heard it hurts like a mother.
