Q:Question for carbon steel ?
None. Mn is a trace impurity in all steels, if you look carefully enough. If you want to find a steel where Mn is not intentionally added, start looking at the alloy composition specifications, there are hundreds of steels. Why are you worried about Mn? Mn is typically added to steels for a very good reason.
Q:Nylon or Steel strings for guitar?
classical guitar = nylon strings Acoustic/electric = steel strings Firstly i must explain you that fingerstyle playing on guitar is using your nails to play and not the soft spot on the acre of your fingers... Why? Because nails produce a cleaner, better and louder sound while the soft spot Is sloppy and dusty... (very simplistic)The difference with using a pick is that you can use your fingers as 4 different picks instead the one you are using when playing with a pick... Well the reason is that nylon strings aren't supposed to be played with a pick but with fingers (nails in reality as mentioned already) if you want το keep them in good condition for long(the sound they provide is another thing and it's a matter of taste) Steel strings are better for using with a pick... Probably a classical guitarist would easily break or harm his nails while playing on steel strings.... Personaly i like both... Depends on what playing
Q:Better Movie: Man of Steel or Captain America; The First Avenger?
Captain America
Q:Is superman made out of steel?
Hes made of steel yes!!1
Q:Infi steel tactical folders?
infi is a brand name steel. They have it specially made and the composition is supposed to be a secret though it is similar to 52100. I have used knives from Busse and their sister company Swamprat Knives. Both companies make good knives, even if their advertising may be a bit odd. They are pricey, but are also very good knives with good steel and ergonomics. If you have the money they are a good option. I don't know if Swamprat still makes knives, but I have a 4'' folder from them in s30v that is great. Benchmade makes some great knives as well, though not nearly a custom as Busse. Take a look at the 913, a 3.6'' D2 blade that was a spring release and G10 handle for a good price. An excellent knife.
Q:Stain on stainless steel sink...?
Do Not use anything abrasives. You will have problems forever if you do. That will ruin the finish. BarKeeper's Friend has been a life saver for me for the cheap sink that was put into my place. Was shocked that it made my sink almost look new again.
Q:Can you leave steel paintless?
There is another thing you can do to inhibit corrosion on bare metal surfaces. Use a good quality automotive wax. Apply it with diligence, and keep the bike in the garage when you're not using it so it stays dry. Touch up the wax job every now and then to maintain the protective finnish.
Q:whats the benifits of using steel material for fasteners?
Relatively cheap, strong, and non-toxic. For Carbon Steel alloys rust and corrosion are problems. For stainless alloys, cost becomes the problem [and corrosion is not eliminated]
Q:Rolled oats VS Steel cut oats?
The biggest difference, is steel cut oats tend to be a European way, and Rolled oats are more North American, Irish and Scottish Oats tend to be steel cut, take longer to cook as the germ and whole grain is almost shredded, where with rolled oats it is process to were only a portion of the bran remains, that is why you can by Oat Bran in North America. We have instant, quick and large flake from Quaker, all cook in a matter of between 2-10 minutes, steel cut can take up to 25-30 minutes and do better in a double boiler, my mother tells a story were her grandmother would prepare it at night and let it sit on the back of the wood stove all night for breakfast the next day.
Q:Fire resistant steel?
In the fire protection world, we do not consider steel fire resistant. Of course it doesn't burn under ordinary conditions, but it lose strength as it is heated. As has been mentioned, there are coatings which insulate steel to enable it to withstand high ambient temperatures for a long time. Construction using this method is called fire resistive construction.
