Q:i have a new ceiling light i am trying to wire. there are 3 black wires and 3 white wires.?
I okorder.com/
Q:2001 honda civic oxygen sensor wiring?
Keep in mind the sensor has a signal wire, a ground wire and a heater wire (or wires). Good luck!
Q:Floodlight installation: what are these three wires?
Am guessing that the third wire is a ground wire. check the instructions that came with it to be sure.
Q:Help with wiring 3 light ceiling fixture?
Depending on how your light and switch are wired, there could be a couple of different combinations. If you have more than one set of black and white wires, you have power coming into the box and carrying on to another outlet. I'm going to guess that your switch will only have a single 2-wire connected to it (one black and one white - plus ground). If so, you need to figure out which one of the cables at the light box, is going to your switch. Once you've figured that out, splice the white wire from that cable, to the other two black wires. Splice the other two white wires together. That leaves you with one black wire by itself. Connect your lights to that black wire, and the two whites. If you have something else at your switch, you will need to provide that information before I can give you an answer.
Q:Calculating thickness of wire?
The resistivity of copper is ρ_Cu = 1.72 x 10^(-8) ohm - meters, whereas that of aluminum is ρ_Al = 2.82 x 10^(-8) ohm-meters [1]. Assuming that the wire runs are the same length L, the resistance in the aluminum wire will be R_Al = ρ_Al * L/A_Al, where A_Al is the cross-sectional area of the aluminum wire. The resistance in the copper wire will be R_Cu = ρ_Cu * L/A_Cu. If we want the same resistance in both wires, we require R_Cu = R_Al: ρ_Cu * L / A_Cu = ρ_Al * L / A_Al A_Al / A_Cu = ρ_Al / ρ_Cu. Since the resistivity ρ_Al of aluminum is higher, the aluminum wire must have a larger cross sectional area to yield the same resistance. To make this precise, suppose the wires are cylindrical. Then the cross sectional area is π(R_Al)² for the aluminum wire and π(ρ_Cu)² for the copper wire: π(R_Al)²/π(ρ_Cu)² = ρ_Al / ρ_Cu R_Al/R_Cu = √(ρ_Al / ρ_Cu) = √(2.82/1.72) = 1.28 The aluminum wire must be 28% thicker than the copper wire in order to provide the same resistance.
Q:What does wire mean in this context?

Q:how to wire an emergency residential boiler switch?
Hello there George, It has become common over the past few years that non-residential boilers are wired with EPO (emergency, power off) switches just outside each door to the boiler room. This is similar to having fire alarm pull boxes by the exits. I do not know of any jurisdiction that requires it for a residence. On occassion I've seen the 24 volt circuit for the thermostat being switched, which is a bit sketchy. Normally the 120 volt circuit for the controller is switched. The switches used are of the pushbutton type.
Q:What is the red wire called? (circuits)?
There are standards for wire colours but they vary between countries and industries. When I grew up in the UK black was used for negative power and red for positive power (e.g. ground and +12V). But trailer wiring in Canada seems to use black for +12V, for instance. In a digital electronic circuit, using silicon semiconductors, ground or 0V is often abbreviated GND and the +ve power supply as Vcc.
Q:Backup Camera Wiring?
For the objective of? turning it on? NO! you should use that wire, faucet it for sure, with a speedy connect, for a 12V source wire, use a relay, and that 12V source wire, and that is advisable to do 2 body grounds, one for that 12V source wire for the relay to kick on/off, and one from the digital camera that you're powering from a right away link from the battery (use a 10A inline fuse)
