If you buy a platform bed - DON'T use a futon mattress, they're awful to sleep on. Buy a good quality pillow-top mattress, they're are made so well now days that you really don't need a box-spring.

Like everyone has said bunk beds allow for more floor space. I have 2 kids and recently purchased bunk beds, they are great the kids love them, best advice purchase a more comfortable mattress, bunk mattresses are not that cozy. Also, if it is for kids i would purchased the Bunky boards or have Home Depot cut more slats. If it is for kids I would go with a wood structure instead of metal, just for the piece of mind. Yes. Dogs are social animals that live under a hierarchy system. Each pack has its own leader, which sleeps in the most comfortable position available. Allowing your dog to sleep with you may result in your dog thinking that he/she is leader, and hence he/she may act as aggressive and dominant as he/she want. Of course, this does not happen with every case but it's better to be on the safe side...

Q:My daughter is 3 years old, she still pees her bed at night, and we stop drinks an hour before bed or give her a SMALL sip before bed. Also take her potty before bed, sometimes she doesn't have to go and then she pees during the night.Is this normal?

My little girl is almost 6 now and she still has accidents at nightime. I asked the pediatrician what he thought it might be and he said that her bladder may be a little small OR the trigger in her brain that tells us adults not to pee in the bed has not developed quite as well in her yet. You still may want to have her checked out just to be sure that our suggestions are correct and you have the proper information.

Bedding material should be non-toxic, low-dust, absorbent, several inches deep, and may consist of Aspen Bedding or pine shavings, pelleted newspaper (e.g.; Yesterday's News), or shredded newspaper. If using a rabbit or ferret cage with wire floors, you will want to place old but clean carpet on the wire floors, and then cover that with the bedding material. Make sure to remove any strings on the carpet which could possibly be eaten by the hedgehog or twist around they hedgehog's limb. Do not use cat litter as bedding, since it will stick to the hedgehog's fur. Also make sure the bedding stays dry and that you change it frequently.
