I have traveled all over the Caribbean and a King bed, Queen bed or double bed is the same as in the USA. Atlantean size bed (76 inches wide by 84 inches long) is 4 inches wider than a California King Bed. A California king bed is 72 inches wide and 84 inches long. (that is 12 inches wider than a queen and 4 inches longer) I hope this helps.

Sometimes it takes them a while to go into full force. My brother in law and his g/f had these HORRIBLY and had no commitment to even THINKING about getting rid of them and since we lived in a double and I didn't find out about it til WE had gotten them,we ended up with bedbugs and they only seemed to bite me and not my husband or my daughters. They are AWFUL AWFUL little things too! They can live in/on almost ANY surface especially linens and woodwork.They can live up to 5-7 yrs without even eating anything and they are continuous 'feeders' which means they come back and bite the same spot at least 3 times before they are done for a while(I did a lot of research when I found out we had gotten them) What you should do is go to the store and into the pest control section(around the gardening) and buy one of the big jugs of the bug spray.Make sure to read what pests is control and what it doesn't.Most rid of bed bugs but there are some that don't so make sure to read it very carefully and make sure it has bed bugs as one of the pests it rids of. You want to spray EVERYTHING and even though it is very time consuming and annoying,you must do EVERYTHING.Spray the linings of your mattress,the headboard and footboard,the entire mattress next(but make sure to get the nooks and crannys of the mattress REALLY GOOD),spray your chairs or sofa's,dressers,etc... Even tho you only found 2 it doesn't mean that there isn't more hiding out somewhere. Just like when you get lice you want to put all your bed clothes,curtains,covers in the dryer on the hottest setting possible and you can even do this with your clothes(but there's always the chance of shrinking so be careful). All this worked well and every since that one time we had them,we've never had a problem since. I'd say it was about a 4=5 day process considering we had a 3 bedroom double when this happened but it was well worth it to get rid of those things.

Keep her off the bed. She might be planning to have her puppies on the bed. Pregnancy does weird things. What does your breeding mentor and all the research you did before allowing her to breed say? Edit. I see you have plans to go to Florida by plane next month. They will need to be postponed for quite some time if you have a pregnant dog. You are the owner of that dog, and should be there for the birth. Not put it on someone else to have to deal with. A responsible owner stays with the dog for the whole pregnancy, whelping, and puppy rearing until puppies go to their new homes. Otherwise get a spay/abort done on Monday if you aren't going to be with the dog the whole process.

No, my dog never really wants to get into our beds. The most he will do is if both me and my partner are on the bed in the morning, he may jump up just to be with us. He likes the whole family together. But I never encourage this behaviour....but more from a size perspective. I have a 140 lbs Newfie, if he gets up on the bed....hmm, where do I sleep? Plus he likes cool. Even I allow him on the couch but he does not last more than 5 mins there. Naturally he picks the coolest spot to sleep (basement). If I allow him into the cold room, he will sleep there too. I know people don't allow dogs on bed based on this dominance theory. I will accept it to a tiny degree, I have my doubt. If you check out further, this whole dominance theory is not very well researched out. Even on this whole alpha roll thing, the latest research demonstrates this rolling on the back behaviour is generated by the followers, the leader of a wolf pack never forcefully roll his pack members. From my own experience, I never find any difference in my dog's behaviour before and after I let him get up to the bed. He still listens to me, he still does very well on off leash, and still tries to steal my winter hat everytime we go out.

As long as you go to a professional and reputable salon, you will have no problem because they (not the customer) sanitize the beds properly and completely after each use. Your chances of any kind of disease are virtually non-existent. However ... go to a gym or a hairstylist with a bed in the back or a friend's tanning bed and all bets are off.
