You can make your own bed. They are not hard. Ask your vet what materials would be best. Make sure that it is washable. Dogs that are allergic to everything need to have their bedding washed weekly-daily if it is realy bad. But when you wash the bed. Use just water.

Q:im a teenager and want one. i have a HUGE room with a full size bed and an extra twin. do they work good. how much usually for that format? any dislikes? what about teens thoughts about having a bunk bed?

I had a bunk bed as a kid and I worked at a summer camp with bunk beds and my hair kept getting caught in the springs. So if you get one make sure the top (meaning when you're sitting on the bottom) is solid. I would keep the full size bed though if you have the room for it. Bunk beds can be fun, but I personally don't think they're all that comfy.

Q:My fiance and I have slept on our respective sides of the bed for 2 years now. Two nights ago when I went to lie down, he was on my side of the bed. I asked him to move and he said no, that he wanted that side of the bed now. What the heck is that? What should I do? I want my side of the bed back! I have told him this, yet he says it's his turn for that side of the bed?????

HAHA I have my side of the bed to, if my husband tried to take it, I think I would roll him off the bed! I don't think I could sleep on his side, I wouldn't be comfortable. State your ground honey, that' your side!

Q:I just converted by daughters crib into a bed, as she is now of the age she does not like being stuck in bed. She is fine climbing in and out of bed, but i am afraid she will fall out sometime in the night. We have hardwood floors, so I don't think it will feel very good to fall out of bed. My question is, what can I put down below the open side of her bed to cushion the fall? I need something that won't slide around too much on the floor, too.

Put a cushy blanket down, or a couple ones. Have you thought about a guard rail. I dont know the technical name for them, but they latch on to the side of the childs bed and protects them from rolling out. They're like 18 bucks at walmart or kmart. My daughter had a convertible crib. She didn't sleep in it very long before we got a toddler bed, but it wasn't very high up off the ground. I would imagine yours isn't either.

Don't go to Bed, Bath and Beyond. Their college bedding is way overpriced and their selection was limited. Starting in June/July every store is going to have dorm bedding. Best prices and selections go to Target and Kohl's. Even JCPenny's had dorm bedding. Last year we went everywhere looking for dorm bedding. My daughter was a junior and needed new bedding.
