- The ABEC scale isn't very accurate for measuring how fast a board can go, hopefully we will one day get a scale that is accurate. You're Bone Swiss bearings probably do go faster, when you're riding your board, challenge him to a race, either you'll win or you got ripped off.

- You should be ok for a day drive. Better avoid freeways for your safety incase broken bearing stalls the wheels. Find the replacement from salvage which I have seen are cheap and good.

- Both not very good choice for the bearings, but I don't know a lot about them. I do know a lot about the wheels, which you would definitly want to pick the Rictas, if you want to go fast and glide. You would pick the Bones, if you don't want to go as fast.
- Q:how to replace front wheel bearings on AWD vehicles?
- Most AWD vehicles use a sealed front hub. Meaning the bearings are not replaceable and the hub assembly requires replacement. Depending on the vehicle... a sealed unit can be replaced with basic hand tools in a driveway. Simply unbolt the wheels, brake callipers, remove the rotors, remove the front (CV shaft / axle) retaining nut, unbolt the hub. Reverse the order to install. If you are referring to a full size pickup style... I would recommend you have a mechanical back ground. The reason is because you will be replacing the bearings. You must know how to pack bearings with grease (unless it is a oil bearing, which means you are doing hub seals also). You must know how to install and torque the bearings, or you will have premature bearing failure... worst case scenario, the wheels fall off while driving on the road. Good luck with repairs

- rear bearings in the engine or the differential. the two are very different but either one would be a project. the engine, you would have to pull the engine out or pull the oil pan off and deal with it that way. pull all of the main bearing caps and replace them. the rear end is a bit more complex as you have to pull the axles out, pull the carrier and start from there.

- You normally just check the bearings when you do the brakes. Then you clean and repack them. If you get front wheel looseness or noise, then you jack it up and check for bearing play, or hear grinding.

- There really isn't that much difference between bearings. Mission won't want to get a bad rep by making bad bearings for their main customers. The price is probably a little higher than other bearings (without an OEM skate maker's name on them) than equivalent bearings from the top companies (Twin Cam, Zero Drag, Bones).
