Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :

The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.

The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be  used in accordance with application condition.

Q:nan
Nick... it's evident from your previous question about the engine being locked up, that you have no engine building experience and this question confirms it. I assume that you have invested a lot of money in parts and machine work and it would be bad to mess all that up by a shoddy assembly job. I suggest that you find a competent mechanic and let him assemble the engine. BUT to answer your question.....you will need to find out the clearance specs for the main and rod bearings. Then purchase several sticks of the appropriate sized plastigage. Remove all the main bearing caps and clean all the oil or assembly lube off the bearing and crank. If you put any lube on the upper bearing half, then the crank needs to come out and that needs to be cleaned off. With crank in place and dry, lay a 1 strip of plastigage on each crank journal parallel with crankshaft and slightly off center. Install all main bearing caps and torque to spec. DO NOT rotate crankshaft while plastigage is in place. Remove caps and using the paper that the plastigage was in, measure the width of the crushed plastigage strip. If within specs, you're ok....if not...find out why. Do the rod bearings the same way, 2 at a time and dont rotate crank with the plastigage in place
Q:ok so i got a long board this Christmas and well....can i use 70% rubbing alcohol to clean them before i re lube them?and if i can then do i have to let them sit/shake them up a little longer to get them clean?and what kind of lubrication should i get to re lube them?and how long do you think my bearings, trucks , wheels and deck will last if i dont carve ( cause im only going to cruse ) only use my board when its sunny and dry out side and clean/ re lube my bearings every month?p.s. im 125 pounds if that makes a difference...MY LONG BOARD...arbor bamboo pintail72mm/78A arbor wheelsblack gullwing trucksabec 5 bearings (closed bearings )
to clean skate bearings get accetone (preferable %90 or more) and remove the sheilds from your bearing. next place the acetone in a cup. next place you bearings in a cup. stir or shake until the dirt is out. dry . reasemble
Q:i heard people said it makes it stronger. but i dont know if they meant only to put the wheels inside to make the wheels stronger. because i dont want to break my bearings.thankz.
yeah i put my wheels in the freezer every time i get a new pair, i would recomend putting the bearings in but when i freeze my wheels i freeze them in a solid block of ice for a month. i dont know if it works but ill take any advantage i can get
Q:I have to replace my front wheel bearings on my truck. Can you point me in the right direction on how to tighten them down correctly after installation. How tight do i make the axle nut or anything that may have to do while i'm replacing them.Thanks.
G.M. recommends several different methods, but the most simple is the best. Your pick-up has disc brakes, and this is a factor in the procedure. After cleaning and packing the bearings, and assembling the hub and rotor assembly, with the appropriate socket tighten the FIRST retaining nut until it stops. You will feel it bottom out. Spin the hub/rotor assembly several times and tighten again until it bottoms out. Do NOT apply pre-load. Merely tight is sufficient. At this point, controversy arises. Some will advise to install the lock ring and outer nut at this position. It isn't wrong, it is just that if you back the nut off approximately 1/6th to 1/3rd of a turn, and then secure it with the lock and outer nut, the bearings will run just a BIT cooler, and the fact that the rotor isn't held rigid will allow the pads a bit longer life, and it won't affect either safety or alignment. Good Luck
Q:I have two land features which have line-of-sight to each other but are separated by several miles. It's very easy for me to get to one of them, and very difficult to get to the other one. I want to plot both on a map. With a good compass it would be easy, just stand at the first one and shoot a bearing to the second, but I don't have a good compass (or any compass at all). is there some other way to find bearings within a couple degrees of accuracy with minimal equipment?Things I do have:- Plenty of time on my hands- A good knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, etc, and a graphing calculator.- Google Earth- Sticks, stones, paper, cardboard, ruler, string, etc.......
Push a small stick into the soil. In the morning, mark the ground where the top of the shadow is. Do the same in the evening - the line between your 2 marks is East-West. Easy to then divide the angles to find your bearings... Ash D - where on earth did you come up with that bit about rivers?? Rivers in the North running from South to North: Mackenzie and St. Lawrence (both in Canada) ALL major rivers in Germany except the Danube which flows West to East Seine (France) All major rivers in Siberia Nile!! Rivers in the South running North to South: All major rivers in Argentina and Uruguay Probably plenty more....
Q:Which is better?
i've never used destructo bearings before but I have used rush bombers and they are a nice bearing, took a little while to break in but once they were they lasted a couple years with proper lubing and cleanings here and there, most bearings will if you take care of them.
Q:Okay so I wanna clean out my bearings, but I dont have any rubbing alcohol, but I do have hydrogen peroxide...I was wondering if it works and how to use it. Plz tell me asap!!! also, does sewing machine lube work to lubricate the bearings?
first of all NEVER use things like hyd. peroxide or sewing machine lube or WD-40. it clots up, collects more dirt and actually can cause more friction between the ball bearings and the shell. and absoloutly never use water, unless you want rusted shackles. only use actual skateboard lubricants, top kind out there right now is Speadcream by Bones.
Q:What is the bearing capacity of needle bearing and copper sleeve?
The bearing capacity of plain bearings with copper sleeve is large. However, the speed of the shaft has a certain requirement, the speed is too low, too high, can not establish oil film, will soon wear.
Q:My car has recently started making extremely loud noises.. squeeking, squiling, grinding, and its all coming from the back of my car. This noise now continues while I drive, but at first it was just while I would press the brakes. Im trying to determine if this is my brakes going bad, or if it is my wheel bearing going bad. Anything would help thank you!
The rear knuckle will would desire to come off, and be taken right into a save that would replace the bearing. this is presented it fairly is the outer bearing. the situation is plenty greater in all possibility the axle. CV joints fail greater many times then the bearings.
Q:I just got a pair but are they good? I've heard they are awesome....
There isnt really a difference between bearings if they have the same abec raiting so if yours are abec 7 they are going to be just like any other set of PRO abec 7 bearings which definetly does not include some bump wal mart brand bearings. So yes they are good
