The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. - Weigh three ball bearings against another three ball bearings. If one side goes down then you know the heavy one is one of those three. If the scale balances then it is one of the ones you didn't weigh. Weight two of the three containing the heavy ball against each other. If one side goes down then it is the heavy one. If the scales balance then the heavy one is the one you didn't weigh.

- Q:i have an 06 raptor 350 a friend of mine put new axle bearings and seals in it after he did the wheels did not want to turn i started it up and it didnt want to move after a few moments it started to but was holding back about a mile down the road it started grinding and popping like it did when the bearings went out the 1st time does anyone have any idea what he did wrong and what happened...
- If the wheels didn't want to turn right after the new bearings were put in, they didn't go in right. Riding it like that was stupid (sorry, it was). The bearings will need to be replaced again, with new seals. And don't forget the grease. Hopefully no other damage was caused.

- ?!?!?! NO! Finger acetone cannot be used to clean bearings. You can clean bearings with a few things, I can only remember WD-40 at this point of time. Remember to completely dry the bearings before adding the correct lubricant and re-capping them.

- that does not sound like a bearing cause if it was a bearing you would here noise any time you move...if its make a noise when you turn its the u-joints that's an expensive job for sure.i had that same problem with my car and they had to replace the u-joints and the boot covers that go over them...$400 bucks....be warned that i did not take me car in to shop till it was too late and my front wheel fell off..lucky i was just in town driving slow cause it it would have been on the freeway,wow!!!!! look under the car behind the front wheels there like a black boot cover (like the one the bottom on a shifter in a Manuel shift car) you can see if there torn,if they are its the u-joints for sure...(check both sides)

- Well, what's the problem? Do you need to know how to do it? How much it cost? What are wheel bearings? You have tapered bearings. When they go bad you change the inner and outer bearing plus wheel grease seals then get them repacked. Sometimes you can just have them tightened and that fixes it
- Q:i got a 1992 ford explorer and the axle bearing in the rear are gone out. but i dont know what i need to buy to replace it. im not sure if it takes an inner and outer like the front or does it just take one? please help
- better get a chilton repair manual. most axles have some sort of retainer in the differential. auto zone can be a great help if you get the parts there.

- no, one cost way to much i've never paid over $40 for swiss bearings. They'll both feel and skate the same no point in getting the more expencive ones.
