The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. - Q:i have a longboard skateboard and also a pair of hockey rollerblades and i just bought 2 8-packs of bones swiss ceramic bearings and i was wondering if i needed all of them just for my rollerblades or will there be enough for both the board and the blades.
- Depends on your skates. Most hockey rollerblades have 4 wheels on each skate so 4x2=8 I don't know how many wheels are on your longboard skateboard but I would imagine 8 bearings (1 for each wheel) should be enough.
- Q:do 98 ford windstars have front wheel bearings?
- yes... but not like older cars.. front wheel drives they are part of the axle... you have to pull the axle and have them removed just about as easy to replace the axle

- Soak it it kerosene or diesel. It will clean and lube at the same time.

- Bushings - use powdered graphite on contact areas, Never use petroleum or oil based lubricants on bushings. Bearings - Remove the shields and apply 2 drops of skateboard bearing lube and replace shields. If bearings are dirty, clean them first. The axle nuts should be loose enough to give a little play in the wheels. About 1/4 turn looser than hand tight. If the nuts get looser as you ride, the nylon retaining collar is broken and the nuts need to be replaced. A local skate shop should have these for about $1-2 for the set of 4

- Q:I recently decided to clean my bearings. A friend told me to remove them, clean them with paper towel to remove a majority of the dirt, and then soak them in a lubricant (WD40) for about a day. I was wondering if this was an effective way to clean your bearings. I also heard of people completely taking the bearing apart and cleaning each individual bearing.
- soaking them in wd40 isnt going to do too much. if you want to do it right it will take a little bit more time. first use a thumb tack to take the C-clip out and then remove the shield next put them in a container(something that you can close and shake) of alcohol. then shake vigorously finally pack the bearings with white grease or some sort of grease and put the shields and C-clips back on.
- Q:What does ABEC for skateboard bearings mean?
- ABEC stands for Annular Bearing Engineering Council and it is a rating of how good bearings are. Basically the higher the number after ABEC-, the better the bearing is supposed to be. The scale goes ABEC-1, ABEC-3, ABEC-5, ABEC-7 and ABEC-9. Bones Bearings (Swiss, Ceramic) are Skate Rated and are basically better than most of the bearings rated on the ABEC scale.
