The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. - Q:So i recently got a new engine and tranny for my 1992 honda accord. (engine swap h22a) runs great. but i noticed it makes a loud humming noise after i release my foot off the pedal. This happened i THINK before i got the engine swap too. but that was like 2 years ago so i dont really remember. it was sitting in my driveway for about 2 years. my new mechanic says its the wheel bearings. The engine and tranny r fine and run and shift well but even if im going 30, or 70, when i take my foot off the pedal it goes....huummmmmm, going down. Humming decreasing. He heard it and said the front wheel bearings need to be replaced. What do you think? thanks.
- It may be something more serious like a rotor which if you drive it and it gives out it'll be a bad accident. So try not to drive it to much.

- Q:So i just bought some sector 9 ABEC 7 bearings. Is it ok if i buy the speed cream lubricant, take the bearings appart, and apply the lub without cleaning them? They are Like less then a week old (the bearings).
- First off, they are a downhill bearing, if your street or vert skating i recumbent independent 7's. Second, speed cream is only really necessary when your bearings start to wear down and start to slow and make that horrible noise. if you put it in straight away it won't do much but collect dirt. so just wait a while.

- Pretty much nothing. It is a measure of precision for high speed machinery where vibrating shafts are a problem. Way higher speeds than wheels on skate boards or inline skates. In some cases, higer abec ratings can cause extra drag in the bearings because of the smaller gaps inside the bearing. Some companies (Zero Drag, Bones, Twin Cam) have designed their best bearings to have lower drag by not meeting even the ABEC 1 standard but with the tolerances close in the areas needed to make them run true in your wheels.

- Hydraulic oil is not designed for cleaning, nor is any oil. Use a solvent like denatured alcohol. Lube the bearings with a skateboard bearing lube. The base for hydraulic oil is mineral oil. It evaporates too quickly and the additives can leave a residue that attract dirt and may damage the crown and shield in the bearings and the wheels.
- Q:Do you need to relube your bearings if you leave them in their boxes(opened)?I bought bones reds, and I opened the box. I plan to leave it there for 3-5 days untill my other shipments(trucks, wheels) come. Will the lube dry/go away? Should I relube it in 3-5 days?
- you don't have to lube up your bearings if there open and still in there box the only reason you have to re lube them if your using them hoped that helped.

- Honestly... unless you have very good bearings, the best thing youc an do is toss them and get a new set. Most bearings are inexpensive and rather cheaply made. If you are using something like bones swiss, then take care of them and they can last for years. What do I use to clear my swisses? Gasoline. Its dangerous, but nothing works better. Honestly, just get a new set if you are riding cheap bearings.

- Well im going to asume youre talking about front wheel bearings on a 4x4?Its not to difacult just remove the manual lock out hubs and the 2 snap rings that hold in the hub assembly then take a special tool to remove the outer and inner wheel bearing adjustment nuts theres 2 of them then you can pull off the whole hub and remove your bearings .
