The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.
The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be used in accordance with application condition.

- Q:Can I put it on skateboard bearings?
- You can, but it would be a bad idea. Bearings require lubricants based on their use. Grease is used where the temperature is high enough to liquify the grease to the proper viscosity. Also, if your skateboard has exposed ball bearings, the grease will collect and hold dirt, which will then act as a grinding compound and wear them out. If the bearing are sealed, no lubrication is necessary.
- Q:We took our 1996 ford aerostar van into the mechanic the other day and he said it needs new wheel bearings on the front left tire and something like the axle assembly done, he said the housing was cracked right open on both sides and they need to be replaced and he said all up it would cost $1200, seems like alot of money, I know its not a great explanation but if you no wat parts im talking about, do you think this price is right? - Parts should be around $400.00 and it is a pain to get all that mess off of a front wheel drive. I would just buy a newer vehicle before I spent 1200 on that particular vehicle. If you are mechanically inclined you can do this job yourself.

- First off, they are a downhill bearing, if your street or vert skating i recumbent independent 7's. Second, speed cream is only really necessary when your bearings start to wear down and start to slow and make that horrible noise. if you put it in straight away it won't do much but collect dirt. so just wait a while.

- What ever you do please don't try to change them yourself. Special tools are needed (press sleeves) and a press to do the job! A Toyota dealer will have an ultrasonic listening device which will tell you which bearings are bad. You, more than likely will not feel anything loose when the wheels are off the ground. Locally, NAPA will have SKF American made bearings. Carquest has Timken wheel bearings.
