1.The drawn cup needle roller bearings are needle roller bearings with the deep drawn, thin-walled outer ring with either an open end or closed end.

2. The bearings are characterized by a very low sectional height and high load carrying capacity

3. The bearings are typically used in applications where the housing bore can not be used as a raceway for a needle roller and cage assembly but where a very compact and ecnomical bearing arrangement is required.

4. Typically, drawn cup needle roller bearings have a single row of rollers. However, wide sizes incorporate two needle roller and cage assemblies immediately asjacent to each other with a lubrication hole in the outer ring.

Product Applications:

Needle roller bearings are mainly used in car engines, transmissions, compressors, cranes, etc.

Q:I have just gotten into skateboard and getting quite good now I plan to get better bearings.
Pig Swiss. Black Panther Swiss is a close second
Q:i want really fast bearings that i can take with my skateboard in all weather
no bearings are water proof if water goes into your bearings then they will probably get ruined
Q:examples.
Every rotating wheel in your life has a bearing of some sort in it. Your car, the mower, the UPS truck, the shopping cart at walmart. They are everywhere. If you have any full-extention drawers in your house (especially on filing cabinets), they have bearings. Any heavy entrance doors, have bearings in the hinges. If your garage has power tools, air compressors or scissor jacks, they all have bearings. A box fan (or any air moving fan-there's a ton of them) has a bearing in it. If your search extended into your place of work, the number of applications is endless. Just look for any thing that is spinning or has a heavy object with rotational movement.
Q:Well i recently bought a pro scooter and bout ABEC 11 bearings. I want to know if the higher number is better or the lower number?
ABEC numbers are nonsense for skates, boards, or scooters. It is a number for vibration in high speed industrial equipment at speeds that would be past 200mph on a board. It can actually be detrimental since the smaller tolerances that are required for the higher numbers by the spec can mean more friction. Bearing friction is way less than the drag caused by rolling wheels. The top of the line bearings actually do not have an ABEC rating since the companies are designing them specificaly for human powered motion and have opened up some of the specs to reduce friction while keeping other parts tight.
Q:I have been told that the lower the rating the better and vice versa. I've finally had the brilliant idea to ask the question on the almost all knowing internet. Your advice would be appreciated and considered. thanks!
i've got been using Black Panther Swiss bearings in a pair boards for some years. they have been sturdy and supply sturdy speed, adequate to do grinds interior the 9ft end of the pool. The ABEC score has little to do with speed. It merely pertains to tolerances in manufacture and use in extreme speed equipment. It has not something to do with the suitability of a bearing for skateboarding. it relatively is why maximum extreme-end bearings are actually not ABEC rated, as they are designed especially for skateboards.
Q:what do you think and do you think there better than abec 7 bear bearing Thanks!
ABEC ratings for skateboard bearings are useless. They are only for very high speed applications and do not take into consideration lateral forces encountered in skateboarding. Couldn't tell you if Bear bearings are better than Bones.
Q:The noise it is making is a high pitched sound that sounds like a squeaky wheel. Gets worse in 4x4.How do I change the bearings or do I have to take the truck to the shop. I can do most basic repairs and have access to most tools needed. Thanks
As a bear minimum you would need a book telling you what the thing looks like inside or the experience of having done the job before. I have been a shade tree mechanic for over 40 years, I have a fairly well equipped shop and am willing to buy special tools. That said, I would think twice before I tackled this job, I would probably try but I would be ready to have the truck down for several days just to be on the safe side. I have done several jobs on front hubs and no two are alike except that they always seem to be harder and more time consuming than I had anticipated. Unless you consider yourself capable of changing an engine or something else of that level I would suggest a shop.
Q:99 Lexus ES300. When I drive the car its fine for like the first ten minutes but after that when I stop at lights and for traffic the oil pressure will drops when the RPMs go below 500 or so. I took it in and they told me to keep thicker oil and Lucas Stop Leak in it. They also told me the bearings on the Camshaft are loose and thats why I'm losing pressure. Anyone know how much this is to fix? Is it possible to fix on my own? I'm a novice at best with cars. Also why would the oil pressure drop since the bearings are going bad? Just trying to understand the problem a bit better. Thx
It's normal for oil pressure to drop when the oil gets hot and the revs go down so unless the oil light comes on and the oil pressure is dropping that far and your warning light comes on or stays on, it's not cam bearings, it's a sludge problem. Google toyota sludge. You may need to remove the oil pan to clean off the oil pick-up.
Q:im buying a set for 16.95 and want to know
They do not have an ABEC rating. ABEC is common advertising hype but is actually meaningless for skates and boards. It is an industrial standard for vibration that is intended for things spinning like your wheels would be at 200 mph. It came into use because many of the early skates and boards used precision grade bearings that were garbage. Standard ABEC 1 bearings were much better and cheap so ABEC bearings became a selling point that ment you were getting good bearings. There really isn't a significant improvement when you go to higher numbers. Some of the skate bearing makers (Bones, Zero Drag, Twin Cam) have realized that meeting the specs for the higher ABEC numbers can actually slow the bearings down slightly in skate and board use. The went to the more expensive route of designing their own bearings instead of just purchasing standard bearings from companies that sell them in bulk.
Q:Which method should be used for axial fixing of needle roller bearing in stamping outer ring?
General stamping ring needle roller bearings are the outer diameter and the hole is fit to the location, so for stamping ring bearings have a pressing force of the technical requirements. Here I put it in the production process: stamping, heat treatment (about carburizing layer to control, otherwise the last edge will open - Cases) left - lips - cast oxide annealing oxidation layer, the holder on the needle sleeve ring, stamping edge (technical requirements: the rolling head edge within the height, diameter, (note that both ends and in the middle to be consistent) and pressed into the ring after the gage qualified).
