Q:What skate bearings are better?
the higher the abec rating are the faster they spin if they are free of dirt. yet, the higher the rating the tighter the ball bearing are packed and the quicker they become clogged with dirt. REDS are cheap about 15 bucks and out shine most bearings. they are made from powell and they are the red are 15buck and they got 6 ball swiss that can go for over 100 bucks
Q:Are ABEC 7 bearings good?
It depends more on the brand than the ABEC rating. ABEC is almost meaningless for skates or boards because it is about vibrations that would happen around 200 mph. Early skates and boards came with precision bearings that are (in spite of their grade name) really poor and sloppy. ABEC 1 bearings were a massive improvement but the differences between ABEC 1 and ABEC 7 is extremely small and the smaller tolerances in ABEC 7 can make them go slower. A number of high end companies have designs that violate the ABEC standards but are better for skates and boards by letting the bearings roll easier and be more durable. Zero Drag, Bones, and Twin Cam all sell ABEC rated bearing but their better ones are not ABEC.
Q:what is the difference between the bearings N 342, NJ 342 and NU 342?
N design Inside track with two unitary flanges, while outside track without flange. Axes's axial displacement to bearing block can be endured by bearing from two directions. Therefore, these bearings usually used as non position end bearings. NU design The outside track of NU design bearings has two unitary flanges, while inside track without flange. Axis's axial displacement to bearing block can be duded by bearing from two directions. Therefore, these bearings usually used as non position end bearings. Due to the reason of manufacture and maintenance, two flanges of outside track of NU design big bearings showed on drawing maybe not unitary, but with loose fit-up flange rings. NJ design Outside track has two unitary flanges, inside track also with one unitary flange. Therefore, these bearings suitable for the axial orientation of axes from one direction. Since their design and usage are for different purposes I would say no they are not interchangeable.
Q:Fork/bearings not fitting into frame?
In the place you put the forks you’ll see cones at the ends of both the holes, perhaps these cones are too big for you bearings. For eg; imperial cones forks to new metric cones forks, Bike companies would probably do this so you can’t mix their bike parts with other bike parts which in resalting you to buy the parts off them. I know it can’t be the bearings because bike bearings are universal and as such make them all the same (rather than crank and rim cone bearings which are a lot bigger and smaller). My verdict is to take of the old cones on you old bike and put them on your new bike.P.S. the threads on your forks might not be long enough anyway
Q:Rear bearings vs differential, '05 Sport Trac?
Sounds like outer wheel bearings but it could be the differential bearings as well. The only way to know is replace the wheel bearings and see if the noise stops. I'd check the gear oil level as well since if you were low on oil that would kill the bearings and the differential. If it's low make sure you add the specific kind for your axle.
Q:Bearings??? I have a skateboarding question?
Yeah guy. Of direction so as to be quality. I've performed that earlier than whilst I was once more youthful when you consider that I had not anything else lol. Yeah, simply positioned it on and roll your wheels and positioned extra on. Do that for a couple of days in a row and your bearings shall be spinning and spinning and spinning!
Q:Best lubricant for skateboard bearings?
My favorite is Tri-Flow. Originally used for bike bearings, but works for skateboard bearings as well. Try a bike shop, skate shop or some hardware stores.
Q:How do you clean SG9 Rollerblade bearings?
Cleaning Rollerblade Bearings
Q:Good skate bearings?
yeah bones reds they break in faster or try rush bearings, you can get them at zumiez for 10 buck and they are hella fast get the blue ones, or black
Q:do 98 ford windstars have front wheel bearings?
yes... but not like older cars.. front wheel drives they are part of the axle... you have to pull the axle and have them removed just about as easy to replace the axle
