Description
Gypsum Retarder is a dry powdered admixture used for extending the set time of gypsum or gypsum-containing blended materials. It is an organic synthetic melamine resin of high purity. Using this agent, the operation time of the gypsum plaster can be prolonged for an hour or hours as demand. It helps to raise cost-efficiency. It helps to adjust the setting time and density of gypsum paste optionally by using together with SM superplasticizer.

Application

1.For plaster gypsum, glue gypsum, prefabricated gypsum components, gypsum stuffing, gypsum model broad and gypsum decoration coating etc.
2.For good fluidity of powder form, GR can be mixed well with gypsum, no matter with spiral mixing or grinding. Operating time of gypsum mortar can be lengthened by one odd hour.

Dosage
Recommended Dosage: 0.1-1.5%.
The setting time will be prolonged by dosage increase. But setting retarding effect may vary due to different gypsum types. Lab test is recommended to optimize dosage.
