Q:ceiling fan connections which wire goes where?

The green wire is the ground, the white wire is the neutral, the red wire and black wire are hot (live). Either the red or black go to the ceiling fan and the other will go to the light fixture. For safety's sake turn off the power at the breaker box so all the wires will be dead. While the white is a neutral, if you are holding it and touching ground you could still receive a shock. dt has it correct, but I think your one silver colored bare wire off the fan is a Support cable (Steel air craft cable) this should be attached to the back of your mounting box IF it is a fan rated box.

Just go to Summit Racing Equipment online and get either a factory replacement or an aftermarket that has the factory hook ups so you don't have to figure out the wiring. Are you replacing the wiring? is it damaged? You might try painless wiring and see if they have a wiring system for it. Or get a manual with a wiring diagram.

I wouldn't try it. The gray, white, and black wires are the high voltage strobe wires. The control module changes the patterns before the voltage is increased. There is nothing you can do here.

Q:I'm not sure what kind of wire to use to make wire rings. I had found 50ft of thin wire for a cheap price from city mill. Is there a difference between wire from city mill and wire from Walmart or Ben Franklin? I went to Walmart yesterday and the wire was expensive for such a short length. Am I able to use wire from city mill or is it different from wire you would get from a craft store? To me, wire is wire but i really don't know much about crafts.

Q:ok so i have a power acoustik ov2-2200 amp right now and all my wires are working fine with this amp....i am going to buy a lanzar MXA282 which is more wattage (RMS)Do i need to get any new wires to hook this amp up? like the power ground or remote wires? thx... sorry for my ignorance :/

If you aare running with 4 gauge right now...your going to want to upgrade power and ground to 1/0 gauge. Your RCA should not have to be upgraded.
