Q:Where do I connect the green ground wires on my ceiling fan?
Black (hot) to Black White (return) to White Bare (ground) to Green [Green wire can also be connected to metal box with Wire-Nut] Red (light) to Black/White wire (switch)[ in some cases Blue wire]. Page 8 Installation Manual (4-Wirine the Fan) All wiring must be in accordance with national and local electrical codes and ANSI/NFPA 70. If you are unfamiliar with wiring, use a qualified electrician. Wall switches are not included. Select an acceptable general-use switch in accordance with national and local electrical codes. 4-1. Before attempting installation, make sure the power is still off. 4-2. To connect the wires, hold the bare metal leads together and place a wire nut over them, then twist clockwise until tight. For all these connections use the wire connectors provided. 4-3. Connect the bare or green ground wire (grounded) from the ceiling to the green ground wire (grounded) from the ceiling plate and the green ground wire from the fan. 4-4. Connect the white wire (ungrounded) from the ceiling to the white wire (ungrounded) from the fan. 4-5. Connect the remaining wires as follows: Dual Switch Wiring: • The black wire (ungrounded) from the ceiling to the black wire (ungrounded) from the fan • The black/white wire (ungrounded) from the fan to the wire (ungrounded) for the wall switch Single Switch Wiring: • The black wire (ungrounded) from the ceiling to the black (ungrounded) and the black/white wire (ungrounded) from the fan CAUTION: Be sure no bare wire or wire strands are visible after making connections. 4-6. Turn the wire connectors upward and push them carefully back through the ceiling plate into the outlet box. 4-7. Spread the wires apart, with the grounded wires on one side of the outlet box and the ungrounded wires on the other side of the outlet box
Q:Effect of current passing through wires?
a) When the currents through both the wires are in the same direction, the magnetic field due to each midway between them, by right-hand thumb rule, will be in opposite directions. This will result in attraction between the wires. b) When the currents through both the wires are in the opposite directions, the magnetic field due to each midway between them, by right-hand thumb rule, will be in the same direction. This will result in respulsion between the wires.
Q:How do I wire a single-pole dimmer switch using 14-3 wire?
First of all cut the red wire back out of the way, it will not be used. Next route the incoming power black wire to the kill switch, same black wire continues out the other screw from the kill switch to the dimmer, no it does not matter which screw which black wire goes on. Then the black will go to each pot light and continue on to the next one etc. So you will have two black power and one light lead connected together at each box except for the last one. Same for the white wire. This will turn all the lights on and off at the same time and they will be parallel wired so they will all have the same brightness.
Q:What is inside the Magnet wire?
Magnet wire is just solid copper with a layer of varnish for insulation. Speaker wire would work, but you could not wind the wire as tightly due to the thicker insulation. also the wire is very flexible and will not stay in place very well. Also, if the coil gets hot, the insulation on the Speaker wire will start to burn or melt. .
Q:how do u burn cds from lime wire?
At okorder.com Hope it can help you.
Q:Old speaker wire cause?
The only way I could see old wire causing what you describe is if there is a lot of oxidation on the part where it is making contact. It is possible, but not likely and just simply jiggling things should cause the oxidation to come off, if that is what it is.
Q:where can i find a wiring diagram for a nissan frontier 2002 wires going into stereo?

Q:Wiring for small trailer from 7 wire to 4?
Buddy, go to Wal-mart buy a connector/adapter that goes from 7-round to 4-flat I bought one last month $5.67 why screw around with wires, connectors and testlights it's easy plug and play also what if one day you want to pull a trailer with a 7-round? do it all over again? for what less than $6?
Q:electrical question about copper wire?
To most of us, they look identical. However, #12 is slightly thicker and heavier than #14. In a home, #12 is often used for electrical outlets, #14 for lighting circuits (lights/switches). To view/feel the difference, visit a local Ace/Lowes/HomeDepot as a visual picture--unless magnified--will not capture the difference.
