Q:but it says there are three Pink wires. There's not even three pink wires coming out of the car.The chassis/clip has been removed (by previous owner) and all that is left is the wires. All that is needed is a list of the colors and what they go to. Thanks.

Q:DO i TWIST THE WHITE AND RED SMALL WIRES TOGETHER UNDER THE WIRE NUTS ON AC WIRING TO THE CONDENSER?
Hi, Always fun to work with electric. Take a look at the wires that you have. You should have the wires that come out of the condenser and then the wires that go to the condenser from your circuit box. White will usually go to white and red to red/black which depending on age of wiring can be the same. This being the case your white should go to white and the red should go to red/black. This should bring power to your unit. If you plan to keep doing this sort of work a mid-range electrical tester really helps especially telling you if something is still live and able to zap you...
Q:Please help, I'm stuck on this problem:An aluminum wire and a steel wire, each of length 4m, are hung from the ceiling. A 7 kg mass is suspended from the lower end of each wire. The aluminum wire has a diameter of 1.1 mm. What must be the diameter of the steel wire if it is to stretch the same distance as the aluminum wire, so that the two wires maintain equal lengths after masses are attached? Young's modulus for aluminum is .70 x 10^11 Pa and for steel it is 2.0 x 10^11 Pa.
The cross-sectional area of the steel wire must be (.70 x 10^11 / 2.0 x 10^11) of the aluminum wire. So the area of the Al wire is pi*(0.55mm)^2 = 9.50331778 × 10^-7 m^2 The area of the Steel wire must be 3.32616122 × 10^-7 m^2 now solve for the radius of the steel wire. A = pi*r^2 - r = 0.32538 mm d = 2*r = 0.65077 mm
Q:I currently have a ceiling fan wired to a dimmer wall switch that controls the fan and the light, not good I know. I would like to set up the dimmer switch where it controls the light only and then i can use the fan pull switch for the fan. but i am not sure how to wire this with my current wires. In the wall box where the dimmer switch is I have two sets of wires coming from two different locations. one set has a black, red, white, and green. the other location has black, white and copper. currently the green and copper are connected and capped, the two whites are connected together and capped, two blacks are and connected to the black wire coming from the dimmer and the red is connected to the other black wire from the dimmer. how would I wire the dimmer switch to only control the light and not the fan? I want to make sure i do this safely.any assistance is greatly appreciated.
enable me initiate out by making use of asserting that the cord's popping out of the ceiling bypass like this, Black cord is alway the warm cord the White cord is often the common floor cord the bare cord is the earth floor cord. if there's a purple cord popping out of the ceiling it is so which you would be able to turn the mild off at extra then one change . i'm uncertain what a hunter fan is ,yet what ever you do do no longer hook the black (warm) cord with the WHITE (floor) cord, in case you probably did try this ,you will could reset your breaker , it form of seems such as you may have 2 purple cord popping out of the ceiling , in case you do you may hook them to the Black / White cord, it is so which you would be able to paintings the mild from the two change.
Q:I am replacing a 2 wire circuit for a fan/light combo with a 3 wire fan/light combo switch. I ran a new 12/2 w/grnd to the switch box. I ran a 12/3 w/grnd to the ceiling box for the fan. I have a ceiling fan and light control switch that control light and fan separately. I can't figure out which wires go to what.

Q:@topicAnd does the size of the wire matter in electrical consumption?
Wires that contain ferrite should not consume more electricity than wires that made of copper or aluminum. It also does not matter what the size of the wire is for electrical consumption. The size of the wire and the material it is made of determines how much resistance there will be for the electricity to flow through the wire. Consumption is based on the voltage, amperage and wattage that is running through the wire to power an electrical device.
Q:Im wondering if this 24 awg wire is good for guitar wiring. Doesn't look like something that i usually would see people use when wiring, since there is lots of different wires and colour coding wrapped up inside it.
Given okorder / I hope this will help with your decision. Good luck!
Q:I'm trying to install a ceiling fan but I'm having trouble with the wiring. Coming out of the fan I've got a black, white, black and white striped, and a green wire. coming out of the cieling i've got a black, a white and a red wire. The fan's green wire is connected to the bracket as a ground, so that's out of the way. It's the other wires that confuse me. I've tried, white to white, black to black, and BW striped to red, but that didn't do anything.Any ideas? Thanks.
You would need a meter to check those wires coming out of the ceiling...usually 3 wire cable (black, red, and white) are used for a 3 way switch which can be turned on and off at 2 separate location (example:at both ends of a staircase)..If this is your situation, you will need only 2 wire cable (black and white) on a switch..you didn't mention whether you have a lighted fan or not..If so, the black w/white stripe would be for the light...just one more thing, make sure your room switch is on when testing it...
Q:running wire from wall out let to a on and off switch and then to another outlet
What is your problem ? i can be contacted at johnd_82@yahoo
Q:I have a 1997 Dodge Neon 2DR and i did a electric door and mirror conversion but i cannt figure out the wiring... how would i go about figuring it out... can some explain or better show me how a basic lock and mirror controls are wired
i own a repair shop, and if you,ll get a good Haynes repair manual on it,this will have the wiring diagrams in it,for doing this ,that's about the only way you can wire it up right on this job, good luck,i hope this help,s.
