Q:Can i use any T-Mobile phone on their website with a prepaid plan??? i would like to switch to a cheap, good cell service that has nice phones, but im puzzled. prepaid seems to be the best way, now i just have to decide which mobile phone company prepaid is the best. there is verizon, t-mobile, alltell, sprint/virgin mobile. alltell isnt in my area. sprint/virgin mobile work horrible in my area. so its then down to verizon and t-mobile. verizon prepaid is very expensive, so then im left with t-mobile. SO. Can i use ANY t-mobile phone on their website with a pre-paid plan??? THANKS !!!!

no i think there is a select few such as samsung tgh 2619 samsung blast [like chocolate] sidekick II (135.00) nokia open faced phone their is a samsung phone that is like slvr with a camera for about 40-50 dollars + more minutes $25 - 130 mins $50- 400 mins $100 - 1000 mins each txt message is 1 minute all your muintes rollover it is ur best bet for prepaid phones!1

Q:I want to have windows mobile on my intensity phone is this possible? if not can i put the real verison of windows 7 on my phone and if i did this i couldnt call people.i can download windows mobile but all i need to know is how to install it on my phone thanks.

You can't do any of that stuff. Phones aren't like PCs where anyone who's reasonably tech savvy can install a different operating system; it takes a team of programmers months to put a different operating system onto a new phone. Also, phones have different hardware than PCs, so even if you *could* just install a different operating system onto a phone, an operating system made for a PC (like Windows 7) wouldn't work on a phone (and vice-versa).

Q:Hi. Lets try this again and see if anyone knows I recently upgraded to a new cell phone(an LG Dare with Verizon) and am now able to get into yahoo Messenger. My question is when I sign into Messenger using my mobile phone, is there a way to show myself asavailable to some of my contacts and not to the others at the same time? If you have Motorola Mobile Phone Tools, you need to have some means of connecting the phone to the computer. You have three choices - Infrared, Cable and Bluetooth. Also, you need to have your phone enabled to allow data transfer. If you have Cingular service, this is enabled already, if Verizon, then you will have to get the data transfer unlocked. Once data transfer is unlocked, the Phone Tools program will walk you through the setup for the phone. If you can't figure this out, then you need to study the help file for the program and learn how to use it. I would normally be happy to tell you how to use it, but not knowing your computer and your phone, I can't. Q:If you have a t-mobile phone you know that your phone sometimes says other services than t-mobile under the service indicator. Because when your t-mobile service is down the netowrk works off of the other towers. Anyway, my t-mobile service is always two bars or less in my home area. I use to be able to work off of cellularone and att but now it says SOS. How do I make it not say SOS so I can work off of the stronger tower in my area? If I won't be able to make it stop, how can I boost my t-mobile service? Don't say get another phone cause I can't. I'm under two year contract. Thanks.

You need a T-Mobile account and data plan just to set the phone up initially. I have one, so I've done it. When you first fire up the phone, it expects to find a T-Mobile sim with an active data plan, and you have to set up Google access with either an existing account or a new account set up on the phone. Once you do that, I understand you can unlock the phone and use it with other GSM systems (like ATT), but there are a couple of caveats: 1. You won't be able to use the T-Mobile data network, even with a ATT data plan. 2. You can allegedly tweak the phone to use the ATT data network, but you still have to have a data plan to do so. 3. You won't have any 3G access on ATT or T-Mobile's network. It will work with the edge network, but since the phoen si a 3G phone, you lost the advantage of that higher speed network. To me, doing it this way is no advantage. Even though ATT has better 3G coverage (currently), T-Mobile is rapidly rolling theirs out, and it is available in many major cities. I have it where I work in DC, but not where I live yet in Jacksonville, Florida, but the edge network works there really well. I know you have an ATT plan, but if your contract is up or close to it, I'd switch. I'm very happy with T-Mobile (been with them many years) and the G1 is an excellent phone.

There's no way it could be on just any mobile phone. Of course it would have to be a phone with full internet access. I've used it on my iPhone, and all features worked as they should (as long as I stretched/enlarged the view, of course!). I tried it a few times just to test it out more for kicks giggles than intent to use it on a regular bais. I'd much rather use on a full screen for Y!A.
