I live in Phoenix and I took a large piece of carpet out of an unused bedroom and to it to Home Depot and gave them the dimensions I wanted it to be. They cut it and bound the edges beautifully. I now use it under my dining room table. Call around to carpet dealers. Don't try it yourself.
