Q: Do you have self-priming pumps?

A: Yes, our product portfolio also includes two ranges of self-priming pumps: self-priming electric pumps and self-priming side channel pumps.

Q: Is it really necessary to fit a bleed valve for the boxes?

A: It is always best to have a bleed valve as the gas produced by the fermenting sewage is potentially hazardous.

Q: If I increase the power of the motor, must I also increase the power of the inverter?

Q:I getting some work done to my like replacing the timing cover gasket, oil pan gasket and the water pump gasket...the mechanic I talked to said I need to replace this as well; my thing is the water pump is fine..should I take his advice?
What a better time to do it unless of course you are selling it this month. Mechanic is right in saving you money in the future.
Q:My 2005 Lexus IS300 is close to 90K miles and I believe the timing belt/water pump should be replaced. I have priced this with several dealers and mechanics and at this time I can't afford close to $1000 to have this done. However, I see there are kits that can be purchased for about $400.Can a DIY'er with above average mechanical experience replace the belt nd pump relatively easily?
Alot depends on having the proper tools and knowledge . If you have the right tools you could try it but i have known a few people that tried doing there own t-belt and ruined there motor . I am not trying to scare you just don't want you to cause any more expence for yourself. The water pump is easy once you get the belt off . If you do try it heres wishing you good luck
Q:What's the difference between a cold water pump and a hot water pump?
Cold water pump refers to the pump can be transported below 80 degrees C temperature liquid, known as cold water pump, between 80 degrees C to 120 degrees C, the temperature of the pump is called hot water pump.1, the characteristics of hot water pumpHot water pumps IRG hot water pump which is based on ISG and ISW centrifugal pump series on optimization designed, especially IRG type hot water circulating pump consumption, because the pump adopts a vertical motor is installed in the upper part, and a short frame between the pump and motor, not because of a mechanical seal Water Leakage phenomenon the motor inside the water inlet of the motor burn, but also in the IRG based on the design of the hot water pump mechanical seal in high temperature hot water pump maximum temperature by external tap water cooling device can reach 240 DEG C.2, the characteristics of cold water pumpSeal packing seal or mechanical seal rubber material Ding Qing cold water pump commonly used, the most common packing pump is IS single stage single suction centrifugal pump of the pump is also one of the earliest water pump products, because the filler itself requires liquid cooling and lubricating the pump temperature as the only 80 degrees, and packing seal cold water pump and dripping phenomenon has pollution to the pump body pump base and the surrounding environment, this kind of product has been ISG and ISW centrifugal pump series products replaced, ISG and ISW series of cold water with mechanical seal it has no water leakage phenomenon, and is directly connected with the impeller structure used in the the shaft of the motor, the noise and vibration above is obviously better than that of the old type of IS series cold water pump this kind of pump products commonly used in air conditioning water cycle with so called air conditioning chilled water circulating pump.
Q:Water pump quot;leakingbut not dripping anything. how important?my 04 tacoma has a quot;leaking water pumpquot;. I just see some pink fluid around the seals, nothing is dripping. toyota dealer didnt make a big deal about it, just said i should get it done soon. heck they didnt even tell me, i just saw it on the receipt.other mechanics said the same thing. quot;whenever u want to do it we'll do it.is it not an hugely important mechanism or what? how long can i go without doing it? the first symptom would be the engine getting a little hotter? its been like that for 5-6 months.
yea the water pump circulates coolant through the entire cooling system. if you wait until it fails completely, your engine will overheat. i would get it done as soon as possible to prevent further engine damage if it does happen to fail.
Q:My water pump broke on my volkswagen golf tdi so I took it to a garage. He charged me ?250 for a new pump and fitting. When I came to collect it he showed me the broken water pump, when I asked if I could keep the broken pump that was taken out of my car he said that there would be quite a quot;heftysurcharge for me to take it with me because they have to send them back to Volkswagen. I thought it was a bit strange. Is that normal?
What you're talking about is what we in America call a Core charge. If I buy a new water pump for my car and take it home to do it myself, the pump is going to cost me $80. There is also a core charge of another $20 from the parts store that I use. So I'm paying $100 to take home my water pump. However, if I were to have brought in my old pump to exchange it...then I would only pay the $80 for the part. Or if I took it home at $100 and then returned the old one after I got my car fixed...then they'd give me the the $20 back. The reason for this is that a lot of companies can recondition these parts and make them as good as new. This is a hell of a lot cheaper than buying new components to make new parts. Say a water pump is leaking only because the seals in it are failing. They can take it apart, replace the seals (and anything that looks like it needs replacing, clean it all up, and put it back together. And that reconditioned water pump (which has a warranty that's the same as the new part and often times better) would usually be sold for $60. So likely that's what's going to happen to it. It'll go back to VW so they can re-manufacture it and recycle it for use in another car that needs a water pump.
Q:old sbc v8 water pump from oreilly's came apart and the fan ate up my serpentine belt, power steering pump pulley, clutch fan obviously, and put 5 holes in my new aluminum radiator. What will they cover? Remanufactured limited lifetime warranty. '78 chevy k10 350 sbc
there is only one way to recover your expenses and that's to put your vehicle in to a main garage for the repaires to be carried out, and ask them to make a report on what went wrong, with your report and detailed receipt send photocopy's to OReilly,s giving them the opportunity to reimburses you,on refusal make a free claim at the public small claims court and you will get payed out
Q:Hubby is trying to change the water pump on our GMC Jimmy. He cannot get the fan off to access the water pump. What is the trick here? He's trying to do more of the maintenance on our cars to save $$$$ --but it sure is a bear!
If it is a mechanical fan remove the bolts and he may have to TAP on it. at the base where the bolts come out.If its electric just nuts, bolts, screws or clips will hold it in place If he cant get it after this email me and ill ask my son if he knows he had the some truck for 6 years he may know ill try to check my email often .
Q:I have a 1998 pontiac grand prix yesterday I started leaking anti-freeze so we ( me, dad, bf) checked and came up w/ h2o pump, all the classic signs. so $51 latter started her up and wouldnt you know the same thing. anyone have any tips????
hoses that go to the water pump are common parts to leak also or the water outlet gasket/or even the thermostat housing
Q:need to know how to change water pump of my plymouth voyager its a 96 and motor is a 4.
Ummm I kind of agree and disagree with C-tech. the 96 Voyager came in one of 3 four cylinder engines, 2.2.L 2.5L or , 2.5L turbo, I think the 2.6L was discontinued in the late 80's or around 91. And the water pump is driven externally, Just look under the alternator and you will see it. So remove the alt, remove the bracket then unbolt the whole pump/pump housing assy, then unbolt the housing from the pump. Clean the surface where the o-ring seals the housing to the block, Run a bead of silicone on the cleaned housing to pump surface, bolt together (dont glob on the glue) Install the housing to the block with a new o-ring, and finish the assy. And to even make sure you have a 2.2 or 2.5 right where the thermostat goes, the head has a housing cast on the head there is a galley plug. Slightly tighten then remove the plug, pour in the coolant ( in the radiator)water mix (50-50) install plug then run engine, what for fan to kick in, then wait for fan to shut off, set your level in the reservoir and BAMM your done. And where I do agree with C is when MBZ owned Chrysler and had the 2.4 installed, somewhere in the 00, but I dont know, I quite Chrysler in 99 And if its a 2.6 get a mechanic to do it
Q:My toilet has a water pump to deposit water to the toilet and a floatie that will stop the flow. But now it does not flow water through the hose, instead it looks like it's clogged and water drips from the floatie handle. Do i need to replace it? Or could it be something easy to fix?
The okorder /... Every hardware store has them. You can get the part I think it is 400A that doesn't have the flapper included. I'm not crazy about fluidmaster flappers because they always leak on me after a very short while.
