1.Structure of Calcined Bauxite Description

Bauxite (aluminous soil; Bauxite) is also called the alumina or bauxite, main ingredients are alumina, hydrated alumina containing impurities, is an earthy mineral. White or gray, brown and yellow or light red by iron.

2.Main Features of the Calcined Bauxite

Calcined bauxite is one of the principal ore of aluminum. Calcined bauxite contains hydrous aluminum oxides and aluminum

hydroxides, formed through the laterization of aluminous rocks in tropical and subtropical areas .Calcined bauxite is obtained by calcining (heating)superior grade bauxite at high temperature (from 85OC to 1600C) .This removes moisture there. By increasing the alumina content, compared to an alumina content of about 57%to 58% in raw bauxite, calcined bauxite has an alumina content of 84%to88%.The heating is carried out in rotary kilns.

3.Main usage of the Calcined Bauxite

(1) aluminium industry. Used in national defense, aerospace, automotive, electronics, chemical industry, daily necessities, etc.
(2) precision casting. Alumina clinker made after the mould precision casting processed into fine powder. Used in military industry, aerospace, communications, instrumentation, machinery and medical equipment department.
(3) is used for refractory products. High bauxite clinker refractoriness is as high as 1780, chemical stability strong, and good physical properties.

Q:how to classify Insulating Refractory ?
General materials have test reports, where fire rating is labled.
Q:Who knows about the fire endurance of sintered shaly hollow bricks?
Sintered shaly hollow bricks of Chu area have high intensity. The average compressive strength of them is up to 15.8, which matches with M7.5 cement mortar that has advantages of low water absorption, and good anti efflorescence performance. The fire endurance of sintered shaly hollow bricks should not exceed1050 degrees otherwise they will burn excessively. I, actually, think that the temperature should be controlled within 980 degrees. I hope my answer may help you.
Q:I would like to ask a friend that how much is the fire endurance of level A fireproofing glass?
Fireproofing doors can be divided into Class A, Class B and Class C by the fire endurance, the fire endurance is seperately not less than 1.20h, 0.90h and 0.60h. Fireproofing glass is a kind of special glass which can retain its integrity and insulation in the prescribed fire test, it can be divided into three categories according to fire resistance rating: class A is the fireproofing glass with refractory integrity and refractory thermal insulation. Such glass has the properties of transmittance, fireproofing (smoke insulation, fire insulation, heat radiation shielding), sound insulation and shock resistance, which is suitable for architectural steel and wood fire doors, windows, partition walls, daylighting roof, ceiling screen, perspective floor and other building components required both transparent and fireproofing. Class B is a fireproofing glass with refractory integrity and thermal radiation intensity. Such fireproofing glass is mostly composite fireproofing glass with transmittance, fireproofing and smoke insulation. Class C is a fireproofing glass with refractory integrity. Such glass has the features of transmittance, fireproofing, smoke insulation and high strength. it can used in partition wall, fire window and outdoor curtain wall without the thermal insulation requirements. fireproofing glass can be divided into composite fireproofing galss and monolithic fireproofing glass by the structure.
Q:What's the commonly used refractory material for ladle?
1. According to the refractoriness, it can be classified as follows: common refractory: 1580℃ ~ 1770℃; high grade refractory: 1770℃ ~ 2000℃; superrefractory: 2000 ℃; 2. According to the shape and demension of the product, it can be classified as follows: standard form : 230mm×113mm ×65mm of no more than four measuring scale, (demension ratio) Max: Min
Q:Which are roofing fireproofing material?
(1) Foamed concrete is a kind of fire-proof thermal inuslation matertial featured by good fire resistance and thermal insulation. Besides, it is also characterized by excellent sound proofing, penetration resistance, easy construction, safety and environmental protection without toxin and pollution. (2) Foam glass is featured by light weight, small heat conductivity coefficient and water absorbption, non-inflammability, fire resistance, high strength, no moulding, corrosion resistance, non-toxin and stable physical and chemical properties and thus widely used petroleum, chemical engineering and underground construction. It is also featured by thermal insualtion, heat/cold preservation and sound absorbption and thus can be used for thermal insulation of external wall and roof of civil builduing. Foam glass is featured by stable chemical property, easy to be processed and not easy to deforme, and durable. (3) With slag, basalt and other natural ore as the main raw material, rock wool, mineral wool and its products are made by high temperature melting into fiber, and then processing with binder. It has low thermal conductivity, fire resistance, easy construction and good effects of energy saving and thus is highly cost-effective. (4) With phenolic foam material as main material, phenolic resin plate is made by foaming thermoset phenolic resin. It is featured by light weight, fire resistance, no burning in the air, no smoking, non-toxin, no dropping and non-embrittlement and thus is an ideal thermal insulation material used in HAVC projects. Due to its high obturator formamen rate, low heat conductivity coefficient, good thermal insulation, water resistance and water vapor permeability, phenolic foam is an ideal thermal insulation material.
Q:How many kinds of refractory materials are there in the EI?
I suggest that you contribute articles to foreign SCI journals for the odds are better, and generally the articles that fill the bill will not be rejected. The traditional refractory materials can contribute to EI journal. If being rejected by EI journal, you can also contribute to Russia's journal Industrial Ceramics and Refractories. I didn't contribute to the Journal of Wuhan University of Science and Technology, the receiving cycle is almost 3 to 4 months. Though the impact factor is low, domestic EI journal is not so good, it is still SCI journal. This is my own experience, please take my advice. The best journals are the Journal of the American Ceramic Society and the Journal of the European Ceramic Society, I heard that they are not bad. But the best domestic EI refractory material journal is the Journal of The Chinese Ceramic Society. It is very long, but if it belongs to your university, it is another pair of shoes. Journals now all want to have materials about functional ceramics, and they don't want Chinese articles, if your English is not well enough, you can choose Ceramics International and Japan Ceramics but they have strict manuscripts reviewing standards.
Q:which is better as household fireproof material ?
the thickness recommended is 1mm or more # 304 stainless steel plate, refractory corrosion-resistant, easy to clean. It now appears that among the most common fireproof material, asbestos is the best. But the asbestos harmful effect is also great, especially for lung damage. Now on the market, the polyurethane, polystyrene, rock wool glass wool, phephenolic aldehyde fireproofingthermal insulation board. But now the phenolic aldehyde fireproofing thermal insulation board has superior performance! phenolic aldehyde containing only carbon, hydrogen and oxygen atoms, when subjected to pyrolysis, except small amounts of CO gas, the other will not produce toxic gases, maximum smoke density is 5.0%.
Q:What's the fireproof specification for constrcution external wall thermal insulation materials?
Specification for constrcution external wall thermal insulation materials: Article 1 In order to implement the "State Council opinions on strengthening and improving fire prevention work" (state issued [2011] No. 46), to standardize fireproof design and application of external wall thermal insulation materials of newly constructed, renovated, and expanded civil buildings and to prevent and reduce fire of building external wall thermal insulation materials, this provision is made in accordance with relevant national technical standards and our province real situation. Article 2 When there is no cavity between external wall thermal insulation material for exterior wall and base wall and between decorative layers, the insulation system shall comply with the following provisions: (A) Residential buildings: 1. When the building is higher than 54m, combustion performance of the thermal insulation material shall be A level; 2. When the building is not higher than 54m,combustion performance of the thermal insulation material shall be at least B level. When using B1 level insulation materials, non-combustible materials should be used to make the protective layer, and a protective layer thickness of the first floor of the building should be not less than 10mm, the other floors not less than 5mm; incombustible materials of more than 300mm height should be used to make horizontal fire barrier zone in every floor. (B) Other buildings in addition to residential buildings
Q:How is the development of Xinmi refractories industry? What's its advantages and disadvantages?
The disadvantage is too small yard, vicious competition among each other and confusion in the market, which should be the inferiority of national refractory industry . Xinmi Refractory is well developed in recent years, mostly acidic and neutral refractories. It is still relatively rare to use in iron parts, steel pile with a satin and other basic refractory slide .
Q:What kinds of fireproof and fire retardant materials are there?
general classification of fire retardant materials will use A, B in the home improvement supplies. A has the best flame resistance, followed by B.
