1. Structure of Heating Test Separator Description

The separator makes temporary data acquisition of the well stream and analyzes the productivity of phases and their properties. 

The oil, water and gas phase in the stream will be separated at high pressure and be measured respectively by meters.

The wells’ productions of oil and gas will be accurately assessed. The control system monitors the operation of the equipment,stores the acquired data and print history curves and reports. Innovatively the heater is integrated on the same skid with the separator, heating the heavier oil for better separating efficiency.

2. Main Features of Heating Test Separator

1) Liquid level controller and water level controller are pneumatic. Actuating gas comes from the self separated gas.No need external gas source and electric power.

2) Senior orifice-plate flow meter is installed. Orifice plate of different size will be changed online according to different flow rate.Mass flow meter is optional, measuring the flow rate, density and water cut of the stream more accurately.

3) High integrity, with heater set together with separator.

4) Internals like baffle, coalescer packing and demister ensure the performance.

5) Design pressure of the test separator: 9.8MPa; design temperature of heater shell: 188℃

6) Water in outlet oil: ≤1%; liquid in outlet gas: ≤10μm

7) Skid mounted, firm steel frame, easy hoisting and putting on trailer.
