Q:What is a press setter ? IN A FACTORY UK ONLY?
a press is a big machine that presses out components like panels for a car door etc, the setter is a person that sets the machine up for doing this, like getting the measurements right and the press parts all in the right place ready for manufacture
Q:Question about bench pressing?
If you max out with 200 lbs on the seated press you won't be able to do that amount with free weights. You gain more balance from balancing the weights and the nautilus cuts down some of the work your muscles have to do to push, balance, and lower the weight. You should invest in a flat bench and a barbell. Or if you lift alone I recommend dumbbells. Your pecs will get a better workout.
Q:When pressing plants, how long do they need to stay in the press?
There's no definite answer to this, as it will depend on the temperature and humidity of the area in which you're drying the plants, and how many plants you're attempting to dry at one time. Anything that will increase the temperature and decrease the humidity will decrease the drying time. That said, I have to say the average drying time for me is 4-7 days. Something you can do to decrease the drying time yourself is to put the press near an air vent so that the air blows through the ventilators (through the holes in the corrugated carboard). If you have a room with a dehumidifier, that works too, espcially if the press is put where the warm, dry air blows through the ventilators. Another thing to try is to put a table lamp with a higher wattage incandescent light bulb on the floor, and put the press above it between two chairs so the heat from the light hits the press. Again, you want to place the press so the warm air rising flows through the ventilators. If nothing else, you can use a fan directed at the press. As a side tip, one the plants have been drying a day or two, tighten the straps on the press. The shrinkage of plants as they dry can allow the leaves to wrinkle in the press, and doesn't give you the smooth, flat results that look best.
Q:Did Johannes Gutenberg only invent the printing press?
What Did Johannes Gutenberg Invent
Q:Scare of the Chest Bench Press?
Yup, escalate slowly. First lie on the bench and make the motion without actually using the bar, this will give you a feel for what you need to do with your arms. Second, just use the bar, no weight When I started I felt like a bit of a loser because I was so weak I could only just press the bar, but everybody has to start somewhere, and over time I built up to a respectable level. Third, add weight til you are comfortable, and don't push the last rep! If you are uncertain, ask someone for help, or to spot you, people in the gym are usually friendly enough. You can also do the same exercise with a dumbell in each hand until you become familiar enough with the exercise to use the bar, you can drop these without crushing your neck! Good luck and have fun!
Q:Is it bad for women to do press-ups?
Well, press ups like push ups tend to build muscle in the chest. Which is why us guys use them, Because they help build pecs. If girls do it, your boobs will subside size, making them look smaller and more muscular, and that is something me and other guys don't find very attractive on a women.
Q:How does pressing on a small cut stop it from bleeding?
by pressing on a cut, you effectively slow down the speed that blood is seeping out of your wounds. this allows coagulation of the blood to take place where... i guess an easy way to think if is when the red blood cells link together (like holding hands), hence stopping the blood flow. it's kinda like making jelly, it's liquid to begin with, but it you leave it alone (stop stirring etc), it will slowly become solid
Q:What can I do with pressed leaves?
Decorate greeting cards by gluing pressed flowers on the cover. Or add pressed flowers to homemade paper by adding them before the paper pulp dries. Use decoupage techniques to attach flowers to Easter eggs, lampshades, notebooks, rocks and picture frames. Decoupage medium is similar to glue and can be found at craft stores. In addition to adhering the flowers to the surface of your project, it forms a protective layer over them and smooths out the flowers so that parts don't stick up. I listed some sites that have other ideas, too. Search: crafts with pressed leaves
Q:8 Week Bench press routine?
just keep benching at different angles flat bench incline bench decline bench 4 sets each an add a dumbell press in there also train chest 2x a week... an also do deadlifts an squats to get stronger take casein protein before bed
Q:push ups and bench press dilemma?
The bench press doesn't engage your core as much as push-ups do. A perfect push-up means your body stays in a straight line all throughout the movement -- a requirement that doesn't apply to the bench press. Work on your core strength with exercises like the plank. If you can't hold the top of a push-up for more than 15 seconds, you have a very weak core. It might also be that while you have the muscular strength to perform a push-up, you don't necessarily have the muscular ENDURANCE to perform A LOT of push-ups. Best way to work on that is...lots of push-ups! Just bang out as many as you can, whether it's 10 or 20 or 100, whenever you can.
