Not only is this law unjustified since it violates FREEDOM OF RELIGION (which France does have), but it also violated the idea of INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.Can someone please explain to me how wearing a lot of clothes makes someone a threat to public safety? And for that matter, can someone please explain to me how the act of wearing a lot of clothing is probable cause for the French police to arrest women for this. After all, you need PROBABLE CAUSE to arrest someone (yes, even in France you need probable cause to arrest someone), and I don't see how the mere act of having one's body covered in clothes is probable cause to suspect one is a criminal.
