theres 2 scenarios that fall into play here.1st- the carpet mills produce the carpet in large lots, some mills give their product a name others a number.carpet distribitutors and stores are able to give carpets whatever name they like, hence the reason you go to home depot w/ a lowes name and you cant find the name but the exact carpet. for example: my carpet distributor has a product line made by shaw mills, called apt +2, but its the only place to find that name. a store that i worked for dealt w/ masiland mills , almost everything that came from that mill had a store given name like the owners sons nickname for example. it makes it seem like that carpet is exclusively made for that store, also, not all dyes are mixed the same way giving a variance in dye lot (the difference between your swatch and the sample. 2- worst case, you picked out a carpet and the store you bought it from found a comparable piece for less money and ordered that thinkin you wouldn't notice the difference and they put even more money in their pocket. go back to that store and see if they have a rug by the name you got and not ordered, if so check the price if different i would seek legal retribution

You need an iron that's trashed (second hand store) or will be after this project. The iron can be used later for crafts. Rip a paper grocery bag open so it'll be one big flat paper. Put it over the wax. Place the heated iron on the bag and pull the bag as you leave the iron in the same spot, until no more wax melts into the paper. You keep doing this until you've removed all the wax that will come up. I've been able to get so much out that it nearly felt soft and supple again. Best wishes.

You will need to pull the carpet up, use a needle nose plier to do this. Start at the far corners. If you can pull the padding up - do that also. Then get some fans and put underneath the carpet and underneath the padding too. Sometime sticks or 5 gallon bucket will help to hold the carpet up. It will take days, but you need to get that water out of there. I've had to do this myself. It works - but takes a long time.

Light purple and green do not really make a bad combination. My neighbor's got flowers of light purple that beautifully stand out against the green leaves. In interior design, it is also known that among the best complementing colors to use with purple are green and yellow. So, this makes my answer yellow. If you'll use the added yellow, sparingly, you can opt for brighter tones making up for accent in your decor. But if you will be using much of this color, lighter would be safer and less overwhelming. Good luck. :)
