Q:What are the specifications of the light steel keel and gypsum board for the partition wall?
Do the wall commonly used light steel keel specifications, generally 75mm, 100mm of the two, this specification is to determine the wall thickness of the wall, and its length is generally 3m, 4m.
Q:I have leaks in my ceiling flat, which is plasterboard, how should the work be done properly?
Its not a big issue, if your landlord is not willing to fix this problem, you can do it by yourself, there are lots of online resources from where you can choose a good product and apply it on your roof, i am also going to recommend a link and hoping it can be helpful for you, check out the link in the source box.
Q:plasterboard onto metal?
use bolts. plaster and paint over to hide them. get the rounded, covered nuts to go on the outside of the shed.
Q:how to fix a hole in plasterboard?
have a look round your area see if a builder is close by .ask him if he has a piece of plasterboard about 12inches sqaure he will probably give it to you ..push a hole through the middle of it with a nail thread a piece of string through it and tie some knots on one end ,,place the board over hole from above so string hangs.. down mix a small amount of carlite bonding (ask builder) pull on string and patch hole ..leave to dry ..if not to smooth use a little polyfilla sand carefully when dry ..cut string level with ceiling ..EASY
Q:can i plasterboard over a crappy wall thats a mix of tile , plaster and board then tile the new boards?
of course been there, done that
Q:whats a good material to put in between the plasterboard and the walls to stop noise escaping?
I've heard that cork board is a great sound barrier and blocks out or in sounds. I've heard that it will absorb the sound.
Q:Bedroom ceiling with a good board or gypsum board good?
I think it should be based on personal preferences and the overall environment to decide it? It does not matter good or bad, each have their own advantages. Gypsum should be cheaper than the board, the market price should be inconsistent everywhere. You can go online to inquire.
Q:experianced plasterers help me please!!! Can Plasterboard be applied over a shocking wall?
screw studs to the wall vertically and screw board to studs then finish plaster
Q:Can I mount my TV & wall mount on plasterboard without a stud?
2-3 inches deep? then you should be fine although i would try and spread the weight out as much as possible, the more surface space you use the less tension in one area so use some of those alligator things that go in but not out. use your good judgment on this one if it seems sturdy enough then go for it
Q:Feeding wires through a plasterboard/stud wall?
You should install surface mounted wire mold to conceal the wires. It's a violation of the electrical code to run device power cords through a wall so you could not legally run any 120 volt cables that way. You could also be breaching a firewall and a sound barrier, which this may well be because it has insulation in it (this would be true if it is a shared party wall) . If it is an outside wall, you are breaching the vapor barrier and reducing the weather seal on the house, also a poor idea. Also, it's a code violation to run 120 volt cable and low voltage communication cable through the same opening in a concealed partition. The only safe option for concealing the wires in the wall would be to use proper recessed backboxes with correctly supported cable between them -- as it is done when houses are built to accomodate wall mount TV's. There has to be two separate box systems, or a divided box and separated raceways, for the line voltage and low voltage cables. My advice is patch the holes you've made and run divided wiremold with channels for the two different voltages (your building or electrical supply store will have it).
