Q:alright so I have an image I would like to make into a hook rug but I can't just do it myself by looking at the photo, I need the image printed onto the hook rug base, is there anyway to have that done? can I copy the image onto the hook rug base?
Yes, certainly. Almost every one that hooks a rug draws the design on the backing material. That is the first step. The lazy way is to buy a backing with the design already on it. The above answer gives you a good method on how to transfer a design to your own backing. Or you can simply draw your own right on the backing to your own preferences. Once you do that, you will never go back to commercially prepared kits -- you'll be selling your own on esty!
Q:What is the Pearl carpet, what is the Pearl carpet
Three types: A, Fine pearl carpets(there is pearl powder on surface and it's smooth and delicate) B, Piece pearl carpets(there are particles and the surface color is more bright and glossy) C. Glazing pearl carpets( put a layer of glue on the original surface, the surface is smooth and drops chip)
Q:i have already tried a couple carpet cleaners and they have seemed to make the stain worse. please help!
Alcohol works rather nicely, merely be advantageous to no longer use around motions and don't enable the alcohol get to the carpet backing as a results of fact it rather is going to ruin up the glue. you ought to use dish detergent too as long because it does not have lanolin or bleach. Make a mix of one million qt. water and one million/4 t. of detergent. Then sparkling the spot with a blotting action. never rubbing or around! Then rinse the are with a twig bottle. attempt overlaying the spot with paper towels and a brick or heavy books in one day. you would be shocked how nicely that works.
Q:What color of the tablecloth match well with blue carpet?
tablecloth: Blue, green, orange, pink
Q:What is the adhesive of the red carpet of the automobile exhibition hall
Not always, some with ordinary tape, some with no trace of double-sided adhesive.
Q:my mom wants to get a big but not too big or expense dragon rug. Where can she get it online? That really looks like a dragon? every time my mom searches for dragons rug on the computer she gets weird and not dragon rugs or even close to it. We live in a small town so the stores around here do not any dragon anythings. sO where can she find one that is worth the prices and the right size and looks like a real dragon and not a blob?
I don't know if it's what you're looking for but I got a rug from Ikea for my son that has two Chinese dragons on it. It's blue with a green dragon on each end. It's about 2 feet by 4 feet it was about $30 Canadian
Q:without steam cleaning the carpet how do I remove dried on stains from rugs carpets?
Carpet stains are a part of life. Fortunately, common household vinegar can remove them as easily as they came about. Vinegar can remove even the toughest stains, including alcohol, perfume, cola, coffee and pet mess. 1. Get a clean water spray bottle. 2. Fold several (five to eight is ideal) clean paper towels into a square stack. 3. Pour one part white vinegar with two parts cold water into the bottle, seal and shake. 4. Test the solution on an inconspicuous part of your carpet. Spray the solution and blot dry to verify that the vinegar doesn't discolor your carpet. 5. Remove excess stain-causing liquid by blotting the stained area on the carpet with paper towels. 6. Spray the mixture onto the stain generously. Allow it to soak into the carpet for a few seconds. 7. Press the paper towel stack against the stain and blot so that the staining ingredient will lift onto the paper towels. 8. Continue spraying the carpet with the vinegar solution and blotting carpet until no stain remains. To ease handling, you may choose to spray the paper towels with the solution before blotting as long as you continue to spray the carpet, too. 9. Allow the carpet to dry. The scent of vinegar should fade away while it evaporates. # For large stains, mix the solution and pour it into the detergent part of a carpet cleaning machine. Clean with the machine as usual. # For tough stains, leave a fresh stack of paper towels on top of the stain and place a heavy item like a weighted trash can over it. Leave overnight as the vinegar solution soaks up the extra stain-causing ingredient. # Do not use home cleaning products that contain lanolin or bleach on your carpet. Doing so could cause damage to your carpet. # Avoid rubbing the stains. # Do not spray enough vinegar onto the carpet for it to soak into the carpet's padding.
Q:Theres lot of blood on my carpet
Follow these steps to remove blood stains from Carpet/Synthetic, Carpet/Wool, or Foam Rubber: Mix 1 teaspoon of a mild, non-alkali detergent with 1/2 pint lukewarm water. Add a small amount to the stain and blot the liquid. Do not force the stain further into the fibers. Continue blotting until no more stain is removed. If stain remains, add 1 tablespoon ammonia to 1 cup water (do not use on wool), sponge stain, and blot liquid. Continue until no more stain is removed. Place an absorbent pad over the damp area and weight it down. When no more liquid is drawn out, remove the pad and allow it to air dry thoroughly.
Q:Our carpet in our apartment is starting to fray and my 8mo old likes to pick at the strings and pull them up and I'm afraid she's going to destroy it so I want to buy a rug for that area. We're on a really tight budget so I want to buy a used one, but I don't trust that it will be clean knowing it'll probably end up in her mouth eventually. How would you wash one and would it be cost effective vs just buying new?
I okorder and get a 10 off coupon....i just rented one and did my carpets...only paid 10 for the machine...also you can get carpet products that are safe for children and animals...
Q:Has anyone ever tried using oxyclean or any other cleaner that would work good or produce the same results as with the Rug Doctor cleaners?
Problem being! Most rug cleaning machines can't handle sud's. If oxyclean sud's up it can destroy the machine. I don't know about mixing them...I have...used Downy in those machines to soften my rug and get rid of static.
