Q:What color rug would you use with Navy Curtain?
Q:What color/type of rug would go with the bed set I want and my room?
The zebra rug would only look good if it matched exactly to your bed set. But since your gonna have a lot of purple in your room (from your stuff) i suggest a black rug, i know it sounds kind of plain and simple but i dont see how any other color would go besides purple. But it sounds cute!(:
Q:How often should you get carpeting professionally cleaned? ?
I wouldn't do it more often than once a year. I'd ask the carpet manufacturer their recommendation. You might be able to do that by email on their website.
Q:Can polyester carpet be washed?
Its material can't be more common, so how can it not be washed?
Q:cat urintating on carpet?
If it only happened twice and is now not a problem it may have been a passing medical concern - upset stomach/nerves, whatever. If it is a continuing concern, it too, may be a medical concern. The cat may have a urinary tract infection. These are very painful for the cat and need attention from your vet yesterday. If the cat comes home with a clean bill of health and continues to use the carpet it may be an emotional problem. The cat box may not be to her liking (even if she previously used it without incident). Have you changed the type of litter? Have you added a top to the box that wasn't previously there? Is there something sitting next to the box that wasn't there before? Have you changed the location of the box? Not that she would forget where the box is, but that she doesn't like the type/amount of privacy available. Our cat was afraid of the new cat. The cats had decided among themselves that one would be upstairs and one would be downstairs. Well, the potty box was downstairs. The downstairs cat lorded it over the upstairs cat. The upstairs cat now has her own box (which everyone uses now) upstairs. No more capet issues.
Q:How to deal if shampoo is poured on the carpeton the back of the carpet how to deal with! ! !
Get some water on the carpet, then use a brush to brush, then use clean and unused old clothes or old towel which absorbs water well to spread on it. next reuse water to scrub the carpet, then dry, and repeat several times is no problem
Q:can you wash sheepskin rugs?
I have a sheepskin rug that I have washed, never thought about using Woolite however I am sure that works great :). Since it is a hair like fur I actually have used a little shampoo in the washer with it. It worked just fine, I was a bit nervous to put the rug in the dryer so i just let if hang for a while to air dry and also use a brush to bring the life back into the fur.
Q:My college roommate wants a shag rug. I don't.?
If your only reason for not wanting the rug is that it would be more difficult to clean, then agree to get a shag rug only on the conditions : 1. she purchases the rug (which will then obviously be hers to keep once you two stop living together); 2. she cleans the rug; AND 3. she doesn't get bent out of shape if you think the rug needs cleaning and you then ask her to do so. If she is trying THAT hard to get you to okay having a shag rug, then I'd let her do it, as long as she knows that it is her responsibility to clean it, AND that cleaning is subject to both of your subjective opinions on cleanliness.
Q:Can I put a rug over top of a heat vent?
It depends upon what kind of heat vent you have. If it is a floor furnace, it would get hot enough that it could start a fire. If it is a forced air heating duct, the rug would prevent the air from coming into the room, but the temperature of the air coming out isn't high enough to cause a problem. If it is a forced air heating duct, you could pull the register out of the floor, cut a hole in the rug the same size as the duct boot and slip the register back into the hole so you would have the warm air coming into the room.
Q:help! burnt carpet!!!?
The question is: how big of an area? If it is kinda small 3 x 3. You are going to have to do some surgery! First way: Find a spot of carpet that is good and hidden. Like in the corner of your closet. Take a really sharp knife ( utility knife works good here) and carefully cut out the burnt part. Then cut out the exact size piece in the hidden place. Swap the pieces out. Be careful to not cut into the padding under the carpet. Do not grab a good piece that is close to a seam (you'll just create more problems). You can glue the new carpet down with wood glue, just not too much. I hope that your carpet is thick, or this will not work. Also, you don't want the new piece getting sucked up in the vacuum cleaner. I really think you should just tell your mum though. You might get into a bit of trouble, but If she finds out that you did unqualified surgery on her carpet you are going to really be in a world of hurt!
