Q:Dye Numbers on tile!?
Just buy a bunch of cases and mix them all up. See if theres an arrow on the back of the tile so you have them all pointed in the same direction.

Q:what kind of paint do you paint ceramic tiles with?
I would not try painting the floor, virtually nothing available will stay in place. You can use the 2 part epoxy paint for the walls, that is designed for re-coating a tub. It is about $50 for the kit, and one kit may not do the entire bathroom. Kilz, a brand name, does make a primer for going over tile. You should rough up the surface a bit with the sand paper, so the primer will stick, then put on a good finish coat. I did this in my bathroom with pink tile. It lasted about 2 years, I then had to touch up some nicks, but it was easier and much cheaper than all new tile.
Q:how to install ceramic tile?
Find the largest open square in your floor. Strike a cross from corner to corner of this square to get a center point. You can lay out some tiles based on this center point to see how it ends up running toward the door opening (also a significant sight line) and the walls. You don't want slivers of tile cuts at the walls or door opening so you want to manage the center point around these areas. Allowing for larger grout joints can help you with this issue as well though larger grout joints just make for more sanitary issues in a bath floor.
Q:Is there asbestos in tile?
If it is confirmed that your bathroom floor tile have a asbestos, try to consider this precautions. If you are removing asbestos floor tiles yourself, try to minimize the risk of asbestos fibers getting into the air. Never sand asbestos floor tiles or the glue under it. And don't use any power tool that could damage the tiles. Before removing the tiles, soak the entire floor with plenty water for at least 30 minutes. If some fibers get free, they will be too heavy to float if they are water-soaked, If there is dust while removing the tiles, never use a vacuum cleaner. They will not trap asbestos fibers and reintroduce them into the air. All cleaning should be done with a soaking wet mop. All materials used for cleaning should be transferred immediately to polythene bags and tightly sealed for disposal. Do label these polythene bags appropriately, it is always better and safer to rely on professionals when it comes to getting your asbestos flooring changed. They know exactly how the flooring was put, and how best to remove it. They will ensure that no / minimum asbestos fibers get into the air while changing the flooring. Also disposing and getting rid of the asbestos tiles as per your state rules will be taken care of by them.
Q:What types of tile are durable enough for kitchen countertops?
i'm a actual belongings agent and accept as true with you. Tile w/grout isn't the 1st determination. In an time-honored domicile, new laminate works and looks great. the hot granite looking laminates are alluring, useful, long-lasting and prevalent. If on the different hand, this may be a much better end domicile or you basically choose to spend alot of money, granite may be the alternative. you ought to use matching or coordinating tile for a backsplash to tie all of it mutually.
Q:How do I fix a stained bathroom tile?
The tile should have been sealed, and then re-sealed every year by the people at the carpet store - you are not responsible for her not maintaining her house. I understand that probably doesn't help you - the short answer is - the tile is cheap and painted/stained not all the material dyed to match. You may be able to fix it by using a similarly colored Porcelain stain, or other stain type - just be very careful that you don't get stain on the grout - and once the tile is stained make sure it is sealed.
Q:Bathroom needs floor tile.?
Yes you ll have to pull the stool up and depending on what you sub flooring is now will depend how you treat the stool and wax ring and flange later. There isn t a stock answer with the info you gave. Some times the flange is raised enough to accommodate raising the floor with tile and a 1/2 cement board( if needed). If the flooring is on a slab them the tile will go right up to the flange and stool set atop with a normal or extra thick ring. In 20+ years I ve never had a tile crack under a stool. As long as there is the correct amount of thin set under the tile and any subflooring you add is properly put down,it ll be fine. Stools don t have to be tight tight bolted down just firmly snugged up . Almost ( almost ) any tile will work in a bathroom situation , but get a slip resistant type, one with at least a class III rating is my recommendation Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar and check my qualifications there. Q:Tiling pool bottom for inground pool...? (pool floor tile)?
well heres a hint: buy a 2x4 or a leveling device, figure out if the floor is level. if its not buy some thin-set concrete and make it level. laying tiles on un-even ground sucks
