—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 8 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
- Q:I want to lay ceramic tile in the entry way of my townhome. It‘s about 80 sq ft. The house originally came with a generic white vinyl flooring that I swear is officially a part of the concrete slab it lays on. Because it is so firmly attached (no bubbles, no visible defects of any kind) would it be possible to lay the ceramic tiles over the vinyl? I honestly think it‘s going to take more time to rip up that flooring (and the glue that keeps it down) than it will laying the tile. Thoughts? Thanks!
- My parents and I recently renovated the basement in our apartment building and my father wanted to put tiles down. He does alot of home renovation work and said the best thing would be to take off the vinyl flooring... due to the cement you put under the tiles it sticks better to wood. It was my job to take the vinyl flooring off and there weren't any bumps, it was well done., I literally had to chizle at one point because I couldn't get it started and there were 3 layers of vinyl flooring!... it came off well once I got it started though.... it looks very nice now... I suggest you take it off..
- Q:More specifically, do you lay the tile right against the floorboard with no groat visible? Or would you put a spacer in between the floorboard and the tile so that it you have grout along the edge?
- It is honestly all up to the look you prefer. I for example always remove the baseboards and put a quarter inch space in between the tile and the wall (gives you a seamless result). In doing so, when you put the baseboards back on the wall - any mistakes are hidden - and the job just looks more complete. You can however go the route you are talking about (I've seen it done) - and personally I think that adding a grout line is the way to go - mainly b/c not all walls are square - and the likelihood of you having a seamless edge against the baseboard is slim. - Q:I have a rental that currently has sheet vinyl in the kitchen that is in bad shape. I am considering putting in self adhesive floor tiles over the vinyl. I have installed similar flooring in a bathroom but used inexpensive tiles. It looked good, but the tiles tended to slide. I‘m thinking it was because I used bargain tiles rather than better quality.I just need comments as to longevity and problems you might have encoutered with self adhesive tiles. Also, do you have any particular brand or type you recommend?
- I have numerous rental properties that I use peel and stick tiles in with good success. I get them at Lowe's usually and I spend about a buck a tile. Never had any problems with them other than if the floor gets to wet for extended periods of time the tiles will pop up. best remedy for that is a small tub of vinyl tile adhesive and a small notched trowel, put a little glue on the back of the tile that pops and stick it back down. as far as longevity, I have floors that I have put down more than 5 years ago and they still look as good as the day they were done. Pay attention to how thick the tiles are. The thin, cheap tiles are just that, thin and cheap. The tiles I get from Lowe's I'm not sure who the manufacturer is but they are called Eurostone, they look like marble more or less. If the vinyl on your floor is in good shape and sticking good you can go right over that, if not you may have to put down luan on go over that.
- Q:I just finished my bathroom but when i used the oil based kilz there was a little spray back that landed on the tile floor.
- Depending on the type of tile you might be able to use a sharp knife (exacto or paring knife) and gently remove the spots. If you have any kind of ceramic tile that would work (in my experience) except perhaps on the grouted areas. If you have grout and the Kilz is in/on the grout you might have to actually scrape some of the grout off and then reseal the grout. Good luck. It's laborious work but it should work. If you have linoleum tile I wouldn't do that because it might remove the finish. The next time you go to the paint dept. at the store ask them how to do it if you haven't solved the problem
- Q:I want to install a towel hook in my bathroom, but it is all ceramic tile, including the walls. Adhesive doesn‘t work. Is there any way to put screws in the tile with out cracking the tiles? Thanks.
- You have to drill holes, using a masonry bit, thru the tile, and use an anchor of some sort. Best would be some sort of toggle bolt thru the drywall itself. A plastic expansion anchor would suffice. Any force on the tile itself, may cause eventual breakage.
- Q:Does floor tile give a lot of heat? I want to get a tile substrate for my leopard gecko, but I don‘t know if it will get warm enough for him. I have an under tank heater, so if I put the tile in will the heat from the under tank heater block or go through the tile?
- I put a little layer of sand under my tiles to fill up any air spaces under the tiles (as they're textured to hold grout). Tiles heat up and hold heat a LOT better than pretty much any other substrate. If you want some really neat tiles, try slate. They are really natural, come in awesome colors naturally and hold heat just as well as other tiles. But there are some really nice ceramics, too. Just don't get anything overly glazed.
- Q:and people will rip up the 12X12 tile floor and replace it with smaller tiles? Just need a few opinions.
- I don't think that particular size tile will be outdated but certain styles will. The size of tile should depend on the size of the room. That's why you see smaller 6 tile in bathrooms (well when bathrooms used to be less than 700 square feet...) and the large 12 tiles in the kitchen. Everyone used to have that smooth white tile on their floors, now it looks like something from your Grandma's Florida retirement home. People are all about the granite countertops now. Sure they're the style now but in 10-20 years they will look just as sad as the avocado laminate of the 70s and the small tile and grout patterns of the 90s. Wall panelling, omg let's not go there! America is all about the bigger, better and newer you know...nothing remains appreciated for long anymore. Basically the size is fine, probably going to be around for a while. But I wouldn't go with a crazy ultra hip style if you plan on selling or not resenting your home's outdated look within the next 10 years.

- Q:I‘m curious...How are Terra Cotta roof tiles secured to the roof?? It seems that if they were nailed down, the installer would risk the chance of cracking, or shattering the tile..Is there some type of nail set that prohibits driving the fastener too far into the pieces? Obviously, they just don‘t lie there...
- here in the uk we dont use shingles ..not man enough to last ..so we have clay . ncrete ..and terra cotta roof tiles ...no point in putting on a roof covering unless it gonna last at least 100 years ..out roof tiles have hooks at top that sit behind the tile lathe ...most tiles are not actually nailed ..most are every 3 or 5 rows ..i have worked on dozens of roofs where not one was nailed ..the roof angles and tile weight prevent them from moving ..we fix with either galvanised or copper nails
